Bad Dog's Diary: Blake's Progress

https://www.popular.com.sg/images/product/book/84202.jpg Finally I am done reading this book after many months. Now I can aim to get the other books that I am aiming to get. Woots~

Bad's Dog Diary is mainly about this dog name, Blake. He came up with all sorts of ideas to get his friends out to the shed so they could explore the streets at night. Blake and his friends got together to form a group to save a very sick looking dog, Lolly, who was being ill treated by her master.

The book also talk about how he tries to get his mate, Ella, pregnant during her season period. And after many failed attempts, he managed to during his owner's absence at the hospital with his wife.

The whole story tells how he from a top dog of the park, became a beta and had a new nick name to go with.

A worth to read book if you're interested in the animal kingdom. I like this kind of book where the author puts himself in the shoe of a dog to write out the diary. I thought it was nice because when we do have a pet, we wouldn't know what they will be thinking. So I thought by getting creative and imaginative, maybe we could just guess what's on their mind.

OK, time to put this book up on the shelve. Woohoo...

People, it's Friday tomorrow! If you understand what I mean. It's Labour Day people, the public holiday for the month is here. Woohoo...

OK, now I'm waiting for dumpling day instead. Haha . . .

Job/Things to be done

I found myself another job under retail fulltime. The pay was pathetic, but now I am working for that money. So how long I will be with this company, I'm not so sure too myself.

There's incentives and commission. There's medical expenses per year. So far so good. I just took it, and we'll see how thing goes. If you want to know more, just buzz me on MSN. =D

Things to be Done

Because of my recent muscular pain on my left arm, I have stopped doing the things I should be doing. And since it isn't in pain recently, to take extra precaution, I'm giving it a few more days of rest. But nevertheless, I did something worthwhile like reading and packing of table. The heavy stuff, I try not to touch it.

Prawn Fishing AGAIN~

Photobucket Early in the morning at 2am plus, Jun said she couldn't sleep and I offered to accompany her if she wants to go out for prawn fishing for supper. Then she said she wants to go to Punggol Prawn Fishing farm to take a look since we've never been there before.

Jun came over to fetch me and we're off towards Punggol Prawn Fishing Farm, the one at Marina Country Club near Punggol End. They said free parking so we were thinking why not just go and take a look and see if we really want to have a prawn fishing day there. Jun drove down the road towards Punggol End and turned towards Punggol 17th Ave. The road towards the country club was dark and quiet. And then there's some curve and bend that out of no where another vehicle will be coming towards your direction and so it is best to drive at a slow speed and drive with care.

We reach Marina Country Club and now we know what's the meaning of free parking. If you enter the entrance of the country club by car, you need to pay. So we notice there were quite a lot of cars parked along the road outside the country club, that is the free parking. We walked in towards the Prawn farm to find that there were few people around and the catch other people had were very little and so we decided to head off to our usual prawn fishing farm.

Jun drove towards the wife's home to get the worms for prawn fishing. And I get to play and have a first look at how GPS looks like in a car. I didn't really catch what the GPS said, all I was looking at was where will be the next turn the GPS offer. We went by CTE, and was supposed to turn towards an exit but we missed. Then another Jun purposely didn't turn because she knows the way.

We reached the wife's place, I went up to collect the worms. Yucks, I hate worms. Never in my life will I want to touch a worm. =x The wife was playing mahjong with her friends, and because of me they paused the game I think.

Anyway, we head off towards the prawn fishing farm opposite Bishan's Salvation Army. We prawned for 3 hours. =D

The catch today wasn't good though not much people is prawn fishing. The wife came to join us later. We changed from pond to pond to try our luck. We caught a small little prawn which I brought home hoping that it will be alive. =D

Photobucket We BBQ-ed our catch at the BBQ pit available there. Actually I didn't really do much that night other than prawn fishing. =x

Photobucket While waiting for the prawns to be cooked, I was looking at Ah Wang playing with the cats, chewing on grass and digging the rubbish bin for cooked prawn heads.

Photobucket I sucks at plucking out the prawn shells. =(
But nevertheless, it is a great experience prawn fishing and BBQ-ing them to eat. The wife feed a little portion of prawn to Ah Wang who took it happily.

After prawn fishing, we went to the market food centre at AMK to have breakfast. Then the wife brought us to this shop that sells things at a quite cheap price. Jun bought some biscuit and a toothbrush that the wife recommended. =D

I reached home with a little tired mind. I enjoyed myself, hopefully the wife and Jun enjoys their day too. =D

Meow Meow the Cat

Photobucket People meet my new friend, Meow Meow. Initially I called her Garfield because of her size, but then after confirming that she is a female, I think maybe I shall call her Meow Meow since she kept meow-ing at me whenever she saw me.

I have learnt something from her, to me it is a valuable lesson. =D
I am not a big fan of cats, but Meow Meow had changed my point of view. I have always thought cats are fierce when provoked, they'll scratch you and unfriendly. But after meeting Meow Meow with the wife a few months back, Meow Meow changed my thinking on cats.

I don't know when I started of wanting to feed a cat downstairs at the void deck. I have always thought it would be a messy thing to do. But Meow Meow was different. She is a gentle kitty even when she's eating.

What I have learnt from her was being appreciative and thank a person wholeheartedly after someone had helped you. Meow Meow showed her appreciation by gently rubbing/stroking her head against the wife and my leg as a form of thank you. To me, it is the first time I experienced such a thing from an animal.

So people, learn to be appreciative. Never take things for granted. =D

Wireless

I am trying to use the Singnet wireless now and it is totally not working. Currently in brother's room using the cable to log onto the internet. Weird thing is, the Singnet wireless says the connection for wireless is high. But the bottom right corner says connection low. MSN says DNS and keyport got problem. Sigh . . .

So I might not be online until this stupid thing is fixed.

Hungry.
Off for lunch. Tata~

Muscular Pain

http://www.painstudy.com/images/KneePain.jpg Today I visited the polyclinic in the morning. I can say I waited for more than an hour to get my second queue number to see the doctor at the first storey. But after that part, the other procedure was fast.

Told the doctor what happened and he told me it's muscular pain. He advised me not to carry anything with my left arm. He prescribed me a medicine and ointment for my muscular pain. And so . . .

I'm having 'MC' to my mother and wife stating that I cannot carry anything with my left arm. And so . . .
I need to rest my left arm till it recovers.

Good news on the way.

Miho is coming to stay for 3 days. I don't know when thought. But I am quite excited to meet her again. =D

Prawn Fishing

I shall skip the part where I met my sisters up for dinner at Subway on Wednesday. I skipped the part doesn't mean I don't enjoy my day with them.

Girls, thanks. =D
The presents I've received was nice and great. Will put it to good use. =D

Then, I shall skip the part where I had dinner with Jun, Tong and the wife at Beach Road's Army Market. I skipped the part doesn't mean I don't enjoy my day with them.

Girls, thanks. =D
Dinner was great. When will we have another? A real 'zi char' next?

OK. Time for the main entry for this week. I went prawn fishing with Jun and the wife on Friday's night for 3 long hours. It was fun~ Although I had my first prawn fishing experience sometime 2 years back, but I kind of forgotten how to really prawn fish them. And so, I had to learn from the basics again.

I had my try at prawn fishing again and it was fun although the waiting part was rather a boring one. There's a few little fishes swimming in the pond which makes me feel like catching one home. We had to look at the float if it sinks means we had a a prawn on the bait. The wife taught me how, but I was rather stupid doing so. But nevertheless, I managed to catch at least 3 prawns for the night.

But . . .

The way Micky prawn fish was rather dangerous. She had two flying prawns when she's trying to get them up to unhook. One literally flew and landed on the floor unhooked by itself. The second one flew, but with the bait still hooked onto it.

However that wasn't the main point.
The main point was, THE WIFE LET GO OF THE BASKET full of prawns that we caught back into the pond by accident. It sink down into the pond but the string on the basket still can be seen. And so the wife and I tried to rescue our basket back. We thought we would have lost all of our catch for the day, but thankfully they're still in it. *phew*

OK, here's the funny part.
While rescuing the sinking basket, our bait is in the pond too. We used the rod to hook up the basket. So while trying to hook up, we moved our rod here and there. Jun who was next to us watching, saw that we had a prawn caught on our hook and she even explained how the poor fella was.

I was looking at you both trying to rescue the sinking basket, then I saw a prawn on the bait being swing from left to right vigorously in the pond by the both of you. Poor prawn.

See.
We do have a blessing in disguise.

The food there was quite nice. I like the satay's meat. But I believe I had nicer satay before, I think. The fries was nice. I like the taste of it that goes with the sauce given. Yummy~

We caught a roughly 20 prawns for the night. Brought home, cooked it this afternoon and it was delicious. Damn fresh~ The wife says she wants another prawn fishing outing again. And so we shall have. Not sure when.

This Is What I feel

I feel that I don't belong to this house anymore. The reason is very simple, I shall list it in point form.

  • I have a bedroom shared with my elder sister. But ever since she got a boyfriend, took out the long stretch of study table and replaced with ONE study table from Ikea, I feel that I don't have a bedroom after all. It is as though I need a shelter to keep dry during the rainy days, a place to sleep in. Every day, when that fucking molester is at home during the day especially weekday, I don't get to use my bedroom. I need to knock my room to enter. You tell me, why is there such a thing for owner to knock in order to enter his/her own room? Hello! He is considered as a guest, a visitor. Not the owner. Sucker.
  • I have to the laundry (although it's just washing), but I still feel that I shouldn't because the lazy ass, referring to my sister and her boyfriend, always accumulate one week's of clothing before dumping it into the washing machine. So what if we got a new and bigger washing machine? It doesn't mean we can overload it!
  • I always gets locked out of my room during the night. I need to either knock or use my key to enter. I have an aircon to enjoy during warm weathers, but no I don't. They are always using it almost everyday for hours and hours with the door locked. And I have this mentality since young, an hour a day if I were to use aircon. And so . . . Because of my an hour a day, I didn't switch on during the warm weathers.
I know I might be ranting and repeating whatever I had said all over again. But I just don't feel happy the way they treated my mum as a maid. She cooked meals for them, wash their dishes, make sure they have enough food and do laundry for them. She never complains but I can see she's tired. The best part was, with a high salary of hers, my sister asked to borrow money from my mother. Have you seen such a daughter?

List of Things I Need to Do

I thought of writing down the list of things I should do for this coming week. And so I might MIA for a couple of days.

Since I am not working anymore, I thought of just do something worth while and productive. And since the 2 weeks of work has changed me in some perspective like mopping and sweeping floor, I think maybe I should do something to maintained the newly formed muscles I had.

I think I need to do some cycling. I shall try persuading the wife to cycle from SK to SN. Haha . . .

Good-Bye Hoods Inc. Hello New Beginning

Photobucket I have left Hoods Inc. yesterday. And now I am back to square one. Don't tell me about all those theories of yours, it is my decision. You may say it is a dumb decision since it is economic recession now. But to me, it is a wise decision.

I left Hoods Inc. is mainly because of certain issues within me. What I have learnt and gained during my time with them, I truly appreciate it and do it with my utmost best performance ever.

To the cast and crew, if there is a chance, I'm sure we'll meet again. I think I'm going to miss Marie's silly jokes and riddles. *laughs*

Whatever that is people, I have no regrets for this quick decision of mine. :D

Happy 18th Months Anniversary

Photobucket Happy 18th Month Anniversary dearest wife! I was thinking that I might be busy in like say soon cos I've started work, so I thought of writing this up for you and scheduled it to be posted today, just in case I might not be there for you.

18 months we have been together now. And for the 18 months, you've been sponsoring me on everything. From food to clothes to transportation to phone bills. I might not like it in so many ways, you might not seem to even bother although we both are financially not stable. Baby, I want you to know how grateful I am and I appreciate everything you did for me these 18 months.

We might have gone on many roller coaster rides, but please don't bring me for a real one at the theme park. During the many roller coaster rides, I am grateful that you are always there with me. Honey, I want to be there for you too. :D

I'll cut everything short. So here goes.

You've made my life complete, and I want to be with you wherever you are. I want to go through the ups and downs in future with you. To hold you tight. Although working couples might not spend much time together, I want you to know that I love you so.

I love you darling.
Happy 18th Months Anniversary.

Love your wife.

P.S. I'll do your shepherd's pie when I'm free. :D

Yellowish Tan

Sometimes I need to be under the sun during work. Sometimes I will be in the air-conditioned room enjoying aircon. Sometimes I need to be under the slight rain or heavy rain with or without umbrella.

I am trying to enjoy my job in some ways. Be it cleaning the entire balcony, doing nothing, sweeping floors and mopping. Whatever it is, I am trying to enjoy it. People there aren't friendly towards me, and I am trying to give them some time. I am giving myself some time too, to blend into the working environment as well as sacrificing my sleep and free time.

I will be having lesser sleep than the wife now. But I am trying not to complain, as I am told that even if I am tired, don't complain or say it because it will affect the whole production crew. And yes, I am trying to get use to it. What I dreaded most was my weekend is gone and I don't get to enjoy the Public Holiday this Friday. And it sucks.

Whatever that is, hopefully my disappearance for now will give the wife some time to rest. And she better do, wait till I am free like one day, I am so going to bug her in so many ways.

Anyway, the wife said that I am not suitable to have tanned skin. Because . . .

I AM YELLOWISH TAN NOW!

Haha . . .

She said yellow and tan don't go well together. OK lohx . . . Next time I will be under the shade during sun tan session or whatever that is. Bleahx . . .

I find that my job consist of taking cab from point A to point B then back to point A again. That is if you get what I mean.

I need some sleep. So tata~

Reality

Maybe I have lost touched with the reality world for quite sometime now. And I don't seem to be doing well at work. People there are so unfriendly, and they don't even bother to talk to me. There is so much in me that I wanted to talk to them and know more about them to get into their social circle. But there is like a wall in between us preventing us to do so.

The feeling sucks.

Busy Schedule

I have a very busy schedule from tomorrow onwards. And there goes my public holiday for this month. I don't get to celebrate my Good Friday. No Easter eggs. :(

And when I said wrap up, it doesn't mean I knocked off from work. There's cleaning to do as predicted.
So I have listed my schedule here, hopefully the wife will see it and make sure that the kids are fine during my absence. =x

But I guess after the 18th, most probably there's another production coming. *faint*

Cuts and Bruises

Photobucket It is like spring cleaning today. Moved many things, cleaned many things. And it's only me and one muscular female colleague doing all of it. The weather is warm, no air con. The fan doesn't bloody-ly blow at my direction. Many dust and sharp edges. Many rats poo. Sickening.

I had bruises and cuts from the cleaning and moving. I can literally feel my muscles aching. Moved many things till I've lost count. sickening.

Photobucket While cleaning, Scruffy is the KPO dog. Haha . . Although he barks at me most of the time when I appear at the stair way, he is still adorable in so many ways. He can just sit down and let you sayang him when you want to/started to sayang him. As for Chewy, he just loves to kiss. Haha . . .

Working Makes Me Stress & Tired

Photobucket Working seriously made me stress and so I need a pack of this. Bought this at the 7-Eleven at the MRT station and I kena checked I/C like again. Haha . . .

  • Paya Lebar Rd - Jalan Tarum

See I travlled a lot of places today. Haha . . . Because the office is still sort of renovating and redesigning, so I do all these 跑腿 work. But then again, I think this is what Production Assistant is all about. I just work barely a week, the wife complains my tummy has harden. Muslces forming mahx. Cannot blame. I think my arm and legs one is forming again too. Haha . . . After long time of no wushu training, all turns to fats liao. =x

I helped out a little during production. And I can the production process is a lot of work. :( From controlling of traffic to maintaining crowds noises etc. to carry all the things needed. But I can say it's a whole new lot of experience for me.

Met the other colleagues of mine. Marie is quite friendly. The others not sure of their name. Most of them are females though. Haha . . . Girl Power! OK, maybe wait till I met all the others then say.

3rd Day of Work

Photobucket There's works going on at the office. From contractors to electrician to aircon repair men. Then I had to plug out the plugs and cables and no computer the whole day. I had to do nothing other than drawing, reading [Breaking Dawn] again and playing some games on my NDS. But of course, I do run errands.

Because there's really nothing for me to do the whole day, I had to collect some stuffs and deliver some stuffs. And I totally forgot about the vacuum cleaner. *hit myself*

Really bored to death I tell you. We either gossip, talk and do nothing. The dogs are locked up in their own toilet because the whole place is in a mess and there's works going on.

Photobucket Then one of the erm, don't know which area he works in brought in this to show Bratina. ta-da~ Nice lamp isn't it? I think the wife will like it.

Photobucket I took a better pictures of the dogs. This is Scruffy.

Photobucket This is Chewy. :D

I knocked off earlier because the computer isn't ready to be used yet. Reporting to work tomorrow one hour later than the usual time I had to report for work. Can sleep slightly later! Yippee~

Tired.

I bought two boxes of donuts from Missy Donuts. One for the wife and the other for myself. Been delivering boxes of donuts lately that I feel like having some and thus got a box for myself. *happy*

But because the wife had so much to carry, her box of donuts is still with me. She said that even if she brings home now, most probably not her family will be having it. It will be the mahjong kakis.

Then I thought of my poor mother-in-law. :(

My 2nd Day of Work

Photobucket I went for work early at 9:30am. Watered the plants, on the computer and blahx blahx blahx started the work.

Then . . .
Sunita asked me to go to another production company to collect some dvds. And so I cabbed down. Not to worry, money not from my pocket. I got many questions about that. Micky didn't pay for the cab fare.

In the afternoon, went J.Co collect boxes of donuts and cabbed down to the production place. Passed the crews the boxes of donuts, collect the disk and back to office.

I kind of almost dozed off. But I did catch a minute or two of wink wink. Then I continued with work. I did read a little S.H.E on the magazine that I bought this morning.

Had a 30mins fish spa with the wife and Jas. Super ticklish but fun. So far nothing much. Waiting to be able to sleep.
