New Year's Resolutions

http://www.theonion.com/content/files/images/Cover-Snap-New-Year%27s.article.jpg It's the time of the year again. Every start of the new school term, we're asked to pen down our New Year's Resolution on a exercise book which we called it the journal. Every year, I would just pen down my resolution without thinking or maybe I did but didn't work towards it.

I know that many might have the thought that I might give up half way, not going to work towards my resolution or goal or whatever. Some may think that I'm laid back, waiting for the wife to support me or just staying at home and be a princess which my father thought so too. But whatever that is, I've learn it the hard way. Ignore or accept their comments and think through seriously.

So if I happened to be not replying or whatsoever, it just means that I am doing self reflection. Or maybe I should start now.

Anyway, here's my resolution for the year 2009:

  • To learn something new that I have not touched before in school.
  • To pick up a sport and stick with it at least once a month.
  • Gaining weight will always be the main priority every year.
  • To treat the wife well and stop my silent treatment whenever something bad is going to happen between the two of us.
  • Talk more would be the other main thing in life.
  • Pick up art again although the O level had already killed my passion and interest in it.
  • Last but not least, irritate the wife as usual.

S.H.E Recalled Experience of Fooled by Ringtone
Listed Mainland Artist They Most Wanted to Work With
[2008.12.28]

On December 28th, top singers from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China gathered at the Workers’ Sports Center in Beijing for the 2008 Wireless Music Award. Backstage, Sina interviewed S.H.E.

All three members of S.H.E indicated that they liked using ringtones. Most of their ringtones were their own songs and they would request their families and staff members to use ringtones to promote their songs. Ella said: [The ringtone my father uses is the song I wrote “Wifey”. I feel so happy each time I call and hear this song. My own ringtones are “Face to Face” by Sandy Lam, and our own “Say you Love Me”.] Hebe’s ringtone was a song by Norah Jones because she liked the feeling of jazz music. Selina’s ringtone was “Still Would Be Lonely”.

Ella even described an interesting experience on the spot: [I have a good friend who uses a very funny ringtone that says “Hello, I am Jay Chou” and it really was Jay Chou’s voice. It made me wonder every time why it would be Jay’s voice. Actually it was from a recording my friend had made and even though I knew that, but I still was fooled each time.]

When asked if they would like to collaborate with artists from mainland China, S.H.E expressed that there were many mainland Chinese artists that they liked. Selina said she had paid special attention to Chen Chu-sheng, really admired his vocals and all aspects of his talent and felt that his singing sounded very nice. Hebe said that she liked Jane Zhang Liang-ying’s voice and kept praising that [Drawing Heart] was a really good song. Hebe revealed that she most wanted to be able to collaborate with Faye Wong, however, she did not know whether such a chance would still be possible. Ella said that she most wished to collaborate with Han Hong: [Her vocal range is very high and mine is very low, so the effect would be very interesting. Selina had previously collaborated with Leehom Wang. If in mainland China, we most wanted to work with Anson Hu Yan Bin, because we are very good friends with Anson Hu, know him very well, so well that we call him “Little Bin Bin”.]

Hummer coming to Singapore soon

Hummer coming to Singapore soon

By Tony Ng

Second time lucky. The wait has been long for Hummer enthusiasts in Singapore.

The much talked about Hummer H3 has finally been approved by the Land Transport Authority.

The Hummer H3 has already attracted buyers even though there are no test drives available - due to the fact that the stock is still "in the Customs."

Mr Shawn Lim , a sales consultant for CyberCars said, "People have already placed orders for the Hummer H3 Luxury."

According to Mr Lim, some of these buyers are Jeep owners who are looking to buy a second car.

The Hummer H3 fits the bill as as purebred SUV (sports utility vehicle).

Mr Lim said, "The SUV is capable of both handling both urban and off-road terrain with its four-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive."

At the heart of the H3 stands a 3.7litre inline five-cyclinder engine that produces 242bhp.

Maximum torque stands at 328Nm at 5600rpm. Fuel consumption is rated at 5km/L.

However, all these numbers do not matter. From what we gleamed, the Hummer bewitches through its looks.

Mr Lim said, "Most customers are people who want something different on the road."

Which rings true - the masculinity of the smallest off-roader of the Hummer models stands out like a refreshing beacon in our MPV-ed (multi-purpose vehicles) roads.

And for some, that seems to be worth it. Even with a one-year wait.

My Last Christmas Present

Note: The uploading of photos at photobucket is way slow today.

Ah . . .
I'm down with sore throat and mild flu. And I still take chocolates right in front of the wife. I got a terrible butt whacking from her after that. How nice. :(

But what really makes me happy about was . . .

Photobucket My last gift for year 2008. A book I have been eye-ing on and have been wanting to lay my hands on it. Finally! I have a copy of it! Yeah! The wife got it for me as my last Christmas present. Aww . . .

But it's OK. I love it loads. Thanks Dear. Love you loads.

Photobucket When I didn't really pay much attention to the dog, and thought he was just trying to sniff my things where I've placed under my table, this is what I saw. He was resting on this so-called shelf thing under my table feeling a little uncomfortable because the place wasn't spacious and it is just right for him to be in this position. At least he looked at my
direction for a photo taking session. *laughs*

Photobucket Some back dated pictures. The wife's drinks that very night. I don't really like it. =x

Photobucket Told you the wife looks stunning that very night. How I love her to be in such outfit. I also love the dress she wore for her prom night many years ago. Gorgeous. But she just wouldn't want to wear anything lady like for me because she didn't actually witness me in that manner too. Aww . . .

Photobucket Tong, the wife, me and WanJun. Our group photos for the night. I look freaking short. Grr . . If the wife didn't wear heels, that makes us about the same height. Lalala . . . When will we be out and talk whatever we wants to again?

Toca Me

Photobucket (Pardon for a bad quality of picture) Meet up the girls, and had dinner at Thai Express. Yes, I know the email stated Chomp Chomp. But apparently, the rest aren't turning up and only just Wanjun, Tong and me. Ah, don't ask me why because I have no idea myself. Haha . . . But I've already expected it. But whatever.

After dinner took bus towards Serangoon MRT station towards Chinatown where we're off to Toca Me for drink. When I said a drink, it meant just only one glass of it. Micky isn't a good drinker, so she only had one.

You know, I was practically just building castles in the air the whole day. So when erm, can't remember who introduces herself to us, I was just dazzing at her direction. Rude I know, but I wasn't paying attention until WanJun nudged me. Oops.

But anyway, I had a fun time. They both were asking if the wife is coming or not. They just want the wife to come so that they can talk to her I guess. So I called twice to the wife and sms countless of time. Yahx . . . The wife said she is coming. Yeah! Happy!

When the wife walks in the bar, I did glance a little and turned my direction to the nearest LCD screen on the wall because the wife just gave out electric current to me. She mesmerized me last night. Seriously she does. But sadly to say, the heart doesn't went beating furiously.

WanJun had lychee/longan martini, I had chocolate don't know what. Don't ask me about the wife's drink because it contains coffee I think which I didn't really touch it. I like the one that was named after Kino. Woots!

I made new friend. Haha.

Sang a few songs when the whole bar only left us. I'm shy OK, so I don't sing when strangers are around. Unless we befriend one another and went high for the night though. Haha . . . The wife was sad, because they didn't had the song she wanted me to sing. Lalala . . .

The wife sang a roughly two songs with Phoebe someone we made friend with early this morning. The ride home was a disaster. The cab driver just turn here and there towards AMK, and being wide awake, I got a little dizzy because I do have motion sickness. I can't stand long rides. Before I reach home, I've already had the feeling of vomiting. How nice.

Oh, forgotten to mention that we do take a few pictures together before going home. Thanks to Kino for taking the photos for us. :D Photos aren't with me so yahx, no photos of it currently.

Can we go back there to play again?

10 Things I Dislike About My Sister

http://averett.com/%5Cimages%5Cphotos%5Cangry%20puppy.jpg Here's the 10 things I dislike about my biological sister:
  • The dog is always right even if he bullies me or my parents. And we get scolded for 'teaching' the dog the wrong way. Whatever that is, she's always right in educating the dog.
  • I'm always the one that got locked out since the age of 16, during the weekends or the holidays. For now, it would be until that moron is off for National Service. How can a guy like him that can't stand going out for sea for months survive in the National Service. One word, hopeless.
  • She takes things for granted. For example, she created a mess in the room and kept delaying to tidy it up with various reasons and of course my mum ended up cleaning and tidying it up for her. And when her things went missing, she blames the mother. =.=
  • Jump into conclusion. For example when the dog bite my pants and wouldn't let go, I stomped my foot just to show that I'm in a fit of anger. And right at that moment, that dumb dog came right in front of me, and my sister assumed that I kicked him, or rather have the intention to. First thing I should do the other day when the dog ran out was to ignore it completely.
  • She brought home the dog insisting that she will look after it. But what happened now? She just dump the dog at home hoping that I would look after it for her since I am not working. Best part was, if I didn't clear the pee and shit he had made, I get the scolding instead. That is when she's at home. The feeding, the cleaning are all done by either by mum or me. All she does as a 'responsible' owner was sending the dog for classes, grooming and visiting the vet when he's unwell. How nice. If she doesn't have the time, don't keep a dog for goodness sake.
  • Always make use of me. And me, blindly just allows her to when I know the obvious motive. Irritating. I should just ignore.
  • By having a DSLR due to the wife who bought it during her Japan trip to Hokkaido the other time, my freaking sister take for granted when I tries to snap picture of the dog as practice. All she ever say was, "You have so many photos of Salty's picture and didn't bother to share" Not even a thank you when I gave her. So much of a sister.
  • Had her boyfriend bully me and didn't even bother to help. This is the kind of sister I have. When I said bully, it meant bully. I wouldn't go further into what bully is that. The wife knows about it and she's super angry about it.
  • When she went totally bankrupt, she will ask either me or my mother for money. She is aiming my piggy bank since I am not working currently, although I am still job hunting and waiting for replies. And when you asked to borrow, she will go all gaga over it.
  • Every morning, she will make a hell load of noise with her epilator (how do you spell it?), just to shave her leg and armpit. It's either that, or when she's preparing to go out with her boyfriend, they'll pretend that I do not exist and start mumbling or rather talking with the lights on bright. So very considerate. And if you did the same thing, you'll get a hell load of scolding and nagging.
I hate the way she is. That's why I am complaining at this hour of time.

My Wonderful Christmas

http://www.freefoto.com/images/90/03/90_03_36---Christmas-Decorations_web.jpg Celebrated Christmas yesterday with the wife. She came over for a stay over and I'm super happy about it. Although before that I was kind of sad and disappointed as planned before on the 27th she would have her stay over. But because there is a dinner with her sisters, she decided to do it early since she's not working today. Yippee!

She came over in the afternoon, we talked a little then had lunch. After which we watched some shows on Okto channel. Watched the [Nine Dog Christmases] and another about a twin penguin trying to prove that Santa does exist. And I asked the wife.

Would you tell your kids that Santa doesn't exist in real life?

And she replied me,

Nope, I would let their creativity flow.

Then of course, we both didn't believe that Santa does exist since we were young.
Anyway, while I was watching TV, the wife was busy clicking and typing away on my laptop. We watched a few movie last night before the clock strike twelve to tell us the end of Christmas for year 2008 is over.

http://sneakermestupid.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/shrek.jpg We've watched Shrek first. I know it is a movie so long ago, but I didn't watch it so I only get to watch it at the age of nineteen? But whatever, at least I did watch it.

To me, the movie was nice. I like the dragon when she met the donkey who went on and on complimenting her. Actually that's all I like in the movie. I don't really like the guy who wants to marry Princess Fiona.

One thing I've learnt in this movie was, never judge a book by it's cover. :D

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/images/200711/20071128ho_shrekthehalls_500.jpg And then, we watched Shrek, the Christmas version. Shrek said he didn't had any celebration for Christmas before and this was his first. He wanted to make it perfect for the family, but Donkey wanted to have it his way. Donkey brought their friends and family over to Shrek's place which caused Shrek to boil with anger.

I quite like Puss in boots in this movie because of his sentence about embrassing himself of the kids and friends. How nice~

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3050/2547258447_77c099a864.jpg We've also watched Mama Mia. I know I am late in watching this movie, but yahx, I've just watched it. Quite a many said the movie was nice (from the reviews I've read by unknown people), but quite a many of the wife's friend said it isn't.

Now I know why it isn't.

When they're supposed to sing, they didn't but sing. When the scene doesn't really required singing, they sing. Ah . . . But we had a great time guessing who is Sophie's father.

Overall, I would say, I don't really like the movie.

http://lh3.ggpht.com/LoveFilms/SEOCrokFf6I/AAAAAAAAAwk/GlAy0UbiBFg/s800/LML_2.jpg We watched Love My Life before turning into bed. Ah . . . Sweet~

Although it is in Japanese with Chinese subheadings, I managed to watch it till the very end. Hey! I seldom watch a show with Chinese subheadings where I have to read until I almost died for guessing what's the meaning. But the wife does explain to me what's fried rice meant in the movie. It meant one night stand. How nice.

This show is awesome! It is about homosexual relationships and how the Yuki (I think it's the name) knows about her parents' background. Her parents were homosexuals too, and because both met together on the street after a breakup, they got married just because the mother wants to start a family.

Nope, I won't get a guy to be my husband just because I want to start a family. As you can see, I'm with the wife and it is impossible for us to start a family. If we were to start a family, there's many things we have to consider and go through. But after much knocking senses to me by the Evil Sister the other time, I came to a final conclusion. If I can't get a child of my own, I shall sponsor kids in the third world country. How's that? Good?

I like this movie not because it depicts homosexual lives, but because the kissing scene in the cab is super nice! I mean it does give me the feeling of wanting to kiss, seriously I meant it. Not because the wife says so too before I could say anything. =x But whatever, I like the show. Woots!

I like the ending too. I thought the girls might not be able to be together due to the sudden break Yuki's girlfriend asked. Break as in taking a break, not a break up. Lalala . . .

Had a great time this Christmas although there's no major celebration with the wife. After the show, after the shower (I guess), the wife and I sat down hugging one another in the living room and we just talked whatever we wish to talk. And before the two of us dozed off, I suggest we head back to the room.

Ah . . .
Waking up to see the wife next to me in my arms is a blessing. I wish for it to happen everyday.

The new cards will cost S$15 each, but will only have a stored value of S$10 as the other S$5 covers the cost of the card.

The cards are compliant to a new standard called Contactless ePurse Application (CEPAS). These new cards will have a new face design and a CEPAS logo on them.

Eventually, these new EZ Link cards can be used in the new generation in-vehicle units for Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) charges. Drivers can also use these cards at Electronic Parking System car parks.

With expected higher usage, the new card can store up to a maximum value of S$500 – five times the value of current generation cards.

Details on how the old EZ Link cards can be exchanged for new ones will be announced soon.

As for the expiry date of old cards, it will be determined after consultations with the Land Transport Authority.

As an added bonus, new card owners will be able to enjoy a free six-month accident insurance coverage when they sign up on the EZ Link website.

Christmas Eve

http://www.maritafreeman.co.uk/Images/Pics/Christmas%20Eve.jpg It's the Christmas Eve. How are you going to spend your Christmas Eve? It is a nice weather today, because it's not warm, but cold. I shall take it as it is winter here in the eternal summer Singapore.

Best part for my Christmas Eve this year, I'm feeling sick. I'm drinking plenty of water so the wife doesn't have to take care of me instead during Christmas. See, I'm thoughtful. But I still don't feel well. Grr . . . May be I should rest.

Tada~

This The Season To Be Sulking~

Photobucket Welcome to Micky and Mandy's room. Messy isn't it? I super hate it A LOT! I mean seriously, I hate it. I only went into the room to sleep or to take clothes for a shower that's all, and every time I enter the room I am bound to step on something. Anything sharp or not, I just stepped on it especially at night in the dark.

Photobucket Now people, how many branded bags can you spot in that corner of my room near the door. But I can say, lots of plastic bags and papers. Wonder how they survive in this mess. When I said they, it literally meant my sister and her irritating boyfriend.

Grr . .
Photobucket is giving my problem as there's problem loading the page. And so, my updating of this entry is slow. S-L-O-W

Photobucket Now let's move to another corner. Now what can you see? I saw a Timberland bag. And many rubbish under it. Ready for the other corner?

Photobucket Heaps of clothes in that container. Now I am wondering how many bras, underwears, boxers, brief and clothes are there. And how many weeks of clothes that has yet to be washed are there. Now I am thinking, in future when they have their own house, it would be in this manner. Who would want to visit? I mean like seriously, hygiene please!

No wonder sometimes I smelled a pungent smell. Eekk . . .

I will forbid my house to be like that. Honey, you hear that? Your bras, your undies clothes and whatever, all must be put in the laundry basket before washing. Grr . . .

Photobucket After all the Christmas shopping they had from Watson, to whatever shop, the plastic bags are laid there in another corner of the room. You tell me, how can a normal person live in such place? OK, except me since I'm already used to their mess since the age of 16. Irritating.

Photobucket Last but not least, the table. See, they can just throw their things anywhere!

If you ask me what I dislike about them, ask the wife. She knows better, plus she dislike them too. Lalalala . . .

"No arms, No legs, No worries!" -- Nick Vujicic

Quote

Think this guy might have a message to give?

"My name is Nick Vujicic and I give God the Glory for how He has used my testimony to touch thousands of hearts around the world! I was born without limbs and doctors have no medical explanation for this birth 'defect'. As you can imagine, I was faced with many challenges and obstacles.

'Consider it pure joy, my Brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds.'

.... To count our hurt, pain and struggle as nothing but pure joy? As my parents were Christians, and my Dad even a Pastor of our church, they knew that verse very well. However, on the morning of the 4th of December 1982 in Melbourne Australia, the last two words on the minds of my parents was 'Praise God!'. Their firstborn son had been born without limbs! There were no warnings or time to prepare themselves for it. The doctors we shocked and had no answers at all! There is still no medical reason why this had happened and Nick now has a Brother and Sister who were born just like any other baby.

The whole church mourned over my birth and my parents were absolutely devastated. Everyone asked, 'if God is a God of Love, then why would God let something this bad happen to not just anyone, but dedicated Christians?' My Dad thought I wouldn't survive for very long, but tests proved that I was a healthy baby boy just with a few limbs missing.

'And we know that in all things God works for the best for those who love Him.' That verse spoke to my heart and convicted me to the point where that I know that there is no such thing as luck, chance or coincidence that these 'bad' things happen in our life.

I had complete peace knowing that God won't let anything happen to us in our life unless He has a good purpose for it all. I completely gave my life to Christ at the age of fifteen after reading John 9. J esus said that the reason the man was born blind was 'so that the works of God may be revealed through Him.' I truly believed that God would heal me so I could be a great testimony of His Awesome Power. Later on I was given the wisdom to understand that if we pray for something, if it's God's will, it'll happen in His time. If it's not God's will for it to happen, then I know that He has something better.

I now see that Glory revealed as He is using me just the way I am and in ways others can't be used.

I am now twenty-three years old and have completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Planning and Accounting. I am also a motivational speaker and love to go out and share my story and testimony wherever opportunities become available. I have developed talks to relate to and encourage students through topics that challenge today's teenagers. I am also a speaker in the corporate sector.

I have a passion for reaching out to youth and keep myself available for whatever God wants me to do, and wherever He leads, I follow.

I have many dreams and goals that I have set to achieve in my life.

I want to become the best witness I can be of God's Love and Hope, to become an international inspirational speaker and be used as a vessel in both Christian and non-Christian venues. I want to become financially independent by the age of 25, through real estate investments, to modify a car for me to drive and to be interviewed and share my story on the ' Oprah Winfrey Show '! Writing several best-selling books has been one of my dreams and I hope to finish writing my first by the end of the year. It will be called 'No Arms, No Legs, No Worries!'?

I believe that if you have the desire and passion to do something, and if it's God's will, you will achieve it in good time. As humans, we continually put limits on ourselves for no reason at all! What's worse is putting limits on God who can do all things. We put God in a 'box'. The awesome thing about the Power of God, is that if we want to do something for God, instead of focusing on our capability, concentrate on our availability for we know that it is God through us and we can't do anything without Him. Once we make ourselves available for God's work, guess whose capabilities we rely on? God's!

May the Lord Bless you
In Christ,

John 9:2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind.

John 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

The Christmas Carole

I was surfing the internet and I came across this at mysingapore.sg

Here's the Christmas Carole for the year 2008:

THE Christmas Carol for 2008

You'd better watch out
You'd better not cry
You'd better keep cash
I'm telling you why:
Recession is coming to town.

It's hitting you once,
It's hitting you twice
It doesn't care if you've been careful and wise
Recession is coming to town

It's worthless if you've got shares
It's worthless if you've got bonds
It's safe when you've got cash in hand
So keep cash for goodness sake, HEY

You'd better watch out
You'd better not cry
You'd better keep cash
I'm telling you why:
Recession is coming to town!

Finance products are confusing
Finance products are so vague
The banks make you bear the cost of risk
So keep out for goodness sake, OH

You'd better watch out
You'd better not cry
You'd better keep cash
I'm telling you why:
Recession HAS COME to town.

A Boring Sunday

http://frecklescassie.files.wordpress.com/2007/06/bored-cat.jpg Have you ever felt bored on a perfect Sunday like today? I do.

There's practically nothing to do. OK, may be there is, but where do I start from? While the wife accompanies her family every Sunday, occasionally with friends on the weekdays and Saturdays, what do I do normally?

Simple . . .

Just rot.

Why? Because I am always at home rotting away while I search for jobs, and pray to God hoping He would answer my prayers. Occasionally play with the dog and the kids, read the Twilight series which I am on my last book of it. Boring isn't it to do the same things everyday.

May be I won't be bored the next week. Lalala . . .

http://neatorama.cachefly.net/images/2007-11/upside-down-christmas-tree.jpg And since Christmas is like 4 days away, any plans for the celebration? See, the inverted Christmas tree! I want one, but you know my parents. They'll nag. But whatever, I am happy with my small little Christmas tree that the wife bought for me last December before she flies to China. Yup, because she knows how much I wanted a tree, she just got me one from Daiso. Lalala . . .

My plans for the Christmas is simple. I'll sleep late at night counting down, then I'll wake up late stretching my lazy bones before I get myself off the bed. Then the rest of the day would be just rotting all the way until one of my favourite Christmas show would be played on Channel 5.

As for dinner, hopefully my aunt doesn't invite us over. But if she does, I'll skip going there giving my TV program as an excuse while the mother is off to bring some Christmas food back.

Who wants to sing Christmas Carole with me?

Ah . . .
May be I can visit Orchard for a walk this Christmas season. But the wife is so ever busy, I am still waiting. Sigh . . .

Ella Put Friendship to Test by Passing Gas
S.H.E Played and Argued Without Holding Grudges
[2008.12.20]

Regardless of being friends or lovers, splitting up after together for a long time is something that happens all the time but the chances of this situation happening to Taiwanese girl group S.H.E is extremely slim. Hebe, Selina and Ella had been working together for nearly eight years. Their relationship was solid. There had never been any news of friction or splitting up. The relationship between the three was closer than that between actual siblings. Earlier when they were interviewed by this newspaper in Hong Kong, a very funny moment occurred when Ella was unable to refrain from passing gas and scaring her partners into jumping away immediately. They also made a pact that no matter which one of them was getting married, the other two would be bridesmaids but could not steal the limelight away from the bride.

Taiwanese pop group S.H.E earlier granted an exclusive interview with this reporter and the interview took place midst noisy clamoring and loud arguments. The active Ella kept making faces without ever stopping for a moment. When the photographer requested Hebe and Selina to sit slightly to the back of the bed and Ella sitting in the front row, Hebe and Selina suddenly screamed and jumped away. It turned out that Ella who was sitting in front of them passed gas and caught them unprepared!

Ella did not show any repentance and even said in a loud voice: [I tried to hold it in but in the end, I couldn’t hold it, so I just let it go. You guys said that withholding gas is not good for the body. There is no smell now, so come back here for the pictures.] Afterwards, Hebe and Selina returned to their original position to continue taking pictures while scolding Ella all the while. Less than 30 seconds later, the three were giggling and playing around again.

Although S.H.E had been together for nearly eight years and they probably saw each other more than they saw their own families, but they had never quarrel, their relationship was like sisters and if there was any dissatisfaction or unhappiness, they would talk about it right away – That was how S.H.E got along with each other all these years. Selina said proudly: [That’s why there has never been any news of friction between us or wanting to go solo all these year. Because our relationship is that tight that basically it is not possible to have any news about us having friction. The three of us are like family and there is no holding grudges with family.]

When asked since S.H.E saw each other so often, would they ever get tired of it? Ella quickly answered: [Definitely not. Each day we have topics that we can never finish talking about. No matter how nonsensical the topic may be, we can still discuss for a whole day without getting bored. Sometimes, even topics such as the color of poo, the texture of it, whether we passed gas today, what are the bad effects of holding gas can get us start talking.]

Promised to be Bridesmaid

Hebe expressed that both partners are the best presents from heaven, she said: [Having work is already a happy thing. People should learn to be satisfied with what they have. Everyday cannot be perfect but our work is our interest. S.H.E can be together is a very wonderful thing.]

S.H.E revealed that they had a pact between them and that was regardless which one was the first to get marry, the other two would be her bridesmaids. However there was one rule that must be followed and that was the bridesmaids must not be dressed too sexy. Grabbing the limelight away from the bride was not allowed.

Favorites Are Good-Looking Guys and Muscle Man

S.H.E each sketched on a piece of drawing paper what they would considered as the ideal mate. The first considerations of Ella were good personality and good-looking; Hebe seek a humorous and kind soulmate; and Selina liked muscle men.

The first condition that Ella listed in choosing a mate was good personality that can make people feel comfortable. The second condition was good looks. She said laughingly: [Most important is that he must be pleasing to my eyes. Of course, it would be even better if he is good looking but I don’t like younger than me. Slightly older would be a bit better. Because we have seen too much and developed faster than other people, men who are slightly more mature would be better. Too young would lack that tacit understanding. One more point is my boyfriend must be accepted by my circle of friends. Unfortunately, up to now, this Mr. Right still has not appeared.]

Earlier it was mentioned that when Ella was recording [Highway Exit by the Sea], she was reminded of her rumored boyfriend Baron Chan and broke down in tears. Ella expressed that it was a misunderstanding. She emphasized that she and Baron Chan were only friends.

In Hebe’s list of romantic rumors, the name that showed up for the longest time was probably Jay Chou. She said in resignation: [I really don’t even remember how the romantic rumor with him got started. I think it was when I went travelling to England and coincidentally he was also there to film his MV. The newspaper claimed someone saw us going together but I did not even see him once during the whole time when I was in England. Even in Taiwan, we don’t see each other much. He is a busy man.]

[I hope my other half would be humorous, kind, good looking and can be my eternal soulmate. The ones I encountered before were not good enough, either humorous but not kind enough or good-looking but not humorous enough. The good points are always found separately, so we never got together.]

Selina’s recent rumored boyfriend was the lawyer Richard Chang but she did not acknowledge him as her boyfriend. She said: [He is a friend introduced to me by another friend. We would share meals together. I pray each day to find my destined one but there is no point forcing the issue. I can only let it occur naturally.]

Upon careful examination of the ideal boyfriend that Selina sketched, it turned out to be a muscle man. She explained: [The guy must have wide shoulders for me to lean against and a brilliant smile as well.]

Typical Singaporean

It is way easy to spot a Singaporean due to their 'kiasu' characters. When there is a sale going on, you'll see dozens of Singaporeans fighting for the cheapest deal.

Photobucket And I am no exception. The Pet's Station warehouse sale, I am proud to say I've been there and got all this home. What? I just got the cheapest deal in town and I am happy for it. :D I just want to swipe away all that I want and need, before anyone takes them, I am proud to say I brought home more than 10 items that very day.

Photobucket Another way to spot Singaporeans are the way they sit. Look at me, aren't I a very typical Singaporeans? That's how I sat in class and in public, but at times, I do know my limits. If you spot anyone sitting in somewhat in this manner, fret not, it is the Singaporean way of sitting, especially at your nearby coffee shop.

Photobucket Sometimes to avoid crowded places and to let our hair down after class, we have chosen the newest and biggest mall in Singapore, Vivo City. The 3rd level allows you to enjoy the breeze, look over at how beautiful Sentosa is at night, especially the lightings and all. You can even see how the construction going on at the opposite island and ferries going to and fro.

Vivo City has many things for us to enjoy ourselves. From entertainment to good food and to just window shopping, or even just to relax. It is just the place for us students from MDIS, where we just take buss 100 from Queenstown all the way to Harbourfront. If you don't know where to alight, look out for cable cars, I always did that when I am not sure of my way.

Photobucket In Singapore, we not only have eccentric students, we do have eccentric lecturers too. From Wolverine wannabe to your friendly lecturer. Yes, I know wolf has high body heat, but seriously our lecturer just likes to freeze us to death during lectures. He wore a button down shirt, and with a few button loose. His hair is just the way X-men wolverine has.

We even have funny guy, like the picture above. Our Public Relation lecturer. With him around, you won't feel bored in class as he'll make a fool of himself to make lessons more interesting.

Photobucket Just like any other typical Singaporean, students like us love to camwhore in the toilet. Now tell me, which Singaporean doesn't? We just simply camwhore anywhere we want.

From the toilet to the MRT station to shopping malls etc. It is just to keep as a memory, because after graduation, we go on our separate ways right? Although it seems weird, that's how we were in Singapore. Isn't it just unique to do so? OK, may be it isn't unique at all. But you tell me, how many of you actually camwhore in the toilet apart for taking nudes pictures?

Photobucket Singapore is small, we do not have huge and majestic Disney Land or Dream Land. But we have the famous Singapore Zoo! There's the late and famous Ah Meng, to our legendary white tigers who recently appeared on National news.

The Singapore Zoological Garden is one of the best place to spend the day, from morning till night. Go during the sunny weathers, not during the rainy days, it will dampen your mood. Now I don't get to see a few of the animal shows. But for one thing, not wanting to take the tramp rides, my legs are all sore after the days walk. May be the next trip, I shall consider for the tramp ride. Best advice is, go on foot then you'll be able to enjoy yourself more. :D

Another point to note, to distinguish Singaporeans more clearly in countries like America, it's easy. Just listen and catch our unique SINGLISH!

The lahx, lehx, wahx.

For example:

Are you sure a not? Don't bluff me lehx.

Is that easy to spot a Singaporean overseas?

Yes, I'm Singaporean! Blog Contest

[19.12.08] Fahrenheit arrived in Singapore last night; 300 fans crazily chase

Translated by catalie @ http://asianfanatics.net Please credit this source if you transferred elsewhere, thanks

Illegally entering the departure area, hired cars to chase, staying at their hotel, 300 fans welcome them enthusiastically at the airport! Last night Fahrenheit arrived in Singapore; Wu Chun felt unwell but still smiled towards fans while Jiro was ecstatic and was busytaking photos!

Yesterday "Popular idol group" Fahrenheit took flight SQ877 at night fall from Taipei to the Lion City [i.e. Singapore]. In the morning, at Changi Airport the area for awaiting arrivals no. 2 had been completely empty but as Fahrenheit's arrival in Singapore approached, more and more fans appeared there until 7:15 - the moment when Fahrenheit appeared in public, then there were about 300 fans there. The place was filled with continuous screaming but the fans welcoming them seemed to be less than before. A fan was interviewed and said, "They were meant to arrive on Thursday [today], but suddenly changed their schedule so many fans weren't aware."

Last month Fahrenheit "three less one", came to Singapore to promote their concert. At the time, because Jiro Wang's (Dadong) leg injury had not yet recovered, had to be absent at the event at the last minute. Last night, fangirls from Dadong's Singapore Forum "Dong Cheng Rise Again" rushed to the airport to get a good "Feng Shui position". With flowers and also large banners, they were very thoughtful and as soon as they saw Dadong, they could not cover up their excitement, screaming from all around!

It was evident that the four Fahrenheit boys were in a good mood; even though they were not dressed up [very formally], they allowed videos and photos. When they walked through the departure gate, Jiro was ecstatic, busily taking photos and talking with nearby "pretty girl" fans. Less than a month since the last time he was here, Arron Yan who has recently been filming seemed considerably skinnier. Yesterday he wore a black, sunglasses and boots - a very cool outfit causing many fans to sigh: so handsome! On the other hand, Wu Chun who is usually very enthusiastic, seemed particularly quiet and shy. "Chun is not feeling too well, headache. So his condition isn't too good, but the other three are feeling great."

Also, it was reported that in one breath, Fahrenheit fans over 10 taxis pursuing their idols all the way to the hotel. In particular, a few fans even checked-in at the hotel, in the hopes that they would be able to "interact all day" with the four guys!

Fahrenheit return to hotel and eat lots

Before the concert, they don't go on a special diet; once Fahrenheit returned to the hotel, the workers were busy buying food: chicken rice, laksa, pizza, etc.

Tomorrow night will be their first concert here in Singapore and it is reported that besides attending an exclusive event today, they will start rehearsing for the concert. Usually a singer will "forbid certain foods" and go on a particular diet before a concert, but Fahrenheit has come to the Lion City "fine food heaven" so obviously they can't resist the enticing fine food here. Very early in the morning they already ordered food: chicken rice, laksa, pizza, char kuey teow and so on!

Furthermore, when they arrived in Singapore yesterday, Wu Chun who is known for his love of food, received cake and snacks from many of his caring fans; ever since he cut his hair short, Calvin has been receiving caps the most and last night was no exception. As to Arron's fans, their gifts were all very creative and yesterday a fan gave him a pillowcase with his portrait on it!

10 fans entered the boarding area illegally

Since the lawsuit that took place when Jay Chou fans bought plane tickets to enter the boarding area but did not board the plane, yesterday again about 10 fans did the same thing in order to get closer to Fahrenheit.

More and more crazy actions of fans are emerging following last year when two fans in order to catch a glimpse of their idol Jay Chou's elegance, did not hesitate to challenge the law and purchased a one-way plane ticket to Kuala Lumpur so that they could enter the boarding area but not get on the plane, instead walking in to meet Jay. They were caught and arrested by airport police as well as immigration and customs officials, bringing a lawsuit against them for entering a protected area; in the end they were fines $1000.

Yesterday, again there were Fahrenheit "pretty girl" fans who did the same thing; it is reported that there were about 10 of them who bought plane tickets but did not register, just so that they could be in close proximity of Fahrenheit in the restricted area and give them gifts, etc. The promoter also said, "Fans are very well-mannered; when they see Fahrenheit they'll ask first: 'Can I shake your hand?'" On the way, fans managed to talk with the four guys. Some were holding "Dadong" banners, some were enthusiastically walking beside Fahrenheit and departing with them.

Under the laws of the conservation district, anyone who enters unauthorised, can be fined $1000 or face up to 2 years in prison, or both.

Tomorrow afternoon's poster exchange event; fans plan to line up very early

Tomorrow Fahrenheit's poster exchange event will begin at 3pm and fans plan to start lining up at 7am.

In order to reward Singaporean fans for their support, the music company will be holding an exchange event for limited Fahrenheit posters. As long as fans have their preorder receipts for Fahrenheit's new album "Loving More and More", and their Fahrenheit Fantasy Lion City concert entrance tickets, they will be able to exchange for a large limited edition poster. It is reported that the hosting company has not hesitated to print about 2000 posters.

Yesterday at the airport a fan expressed that even though the exchange event will start tomorrow at 3pm, Dadong's fans plan to get seats at 7am, "This is nothing! Last time that had an event at IMM, we lined up one week before!"

Knock Knock

http://library.thinkquest.org/06aug/02431/img/Money_Coins.jpg This year, when I couldn't get a job, I blame the economic recession. And when I didn't pass an interview or an interview give me false hope, I blame the people who interviewed me. Not once have I blame it on myself.

So to get my butt out, and knock some sense into me and stop blaming others due to own mistake, I am going to blame myself for the first time.

  • I blame myself for having mutiple failures of interviews.
  • I blame myself for not trying hard enough.
  • I blame myself for not giving my cutest and happiest smile.
  • I blame myself for the wrong body language.
  • I blame myself for many things.
And now as I sat down, many thoughts came pondering into me.

  • I have to get a job soon, so that I can fulfill my dream of applying degree at the age of 21.
  • I don't want to wait for an opportunity comes knocking on my door, I want to knock on opportunity's door.
  • I need to have the courage to make the first step in life and stop being who I am now.
  • Stop Salty from kissing me whenever I sat on the floor day dreaming!
Ah, you can forget about the last point.
But whatever that is, I am going to make a change in life. I need to balance my optimism and pessimism.

I shall pray every night. And I shall search every search engine for a decent and enjoyable job that I like. Even if I have the job I wanted and the people sucks, I should force myself to stay and overcome it because it is an obstacle set ahead of me. But partly because of the economic recession, if I have a job during that period of time. Whatever the reason is, no job hopping as and when I like. Grr . . .

All the best and good luck to me.

Alexandra Hospital

Photobucket I'm at the zoo! I'm at the outdoor concept toilet! Isn't it beautiful?

Just kidding. =x

One part of Alexandra Hospital has this outdoor concept toilet brought to them by the Singapore Zoological Gardens. I feel that is is super amazing, thus I want to take a picture of it. It is the same as the zoo, but the different thing is, you won't get to hear the noises of the animals, but instead from the working people from the hospital.

Photobucket I visited Alexandra Hospital because my grandfather was admitted this early morning at around 3am. Mum came home in a rush before I had time to go down to get myself lunch. While she cooks lunch for me, which is maggi mee, I prepared myself as fast as possible. And when I am eating, mum prepares herself. Brother's not joining as usual. He doesn't join us to visit grandaunt when she's at the hospital early this year. He doesn't join us to visit grandmother during Lunar New Year and Mother's Day this year. And yup, of course it is predictable that he won't be joining us today.

Waited for dad was a torture. I read don't know how many chapters of [Breaking Dawn] and he has yet to reach. Note, I'm a slow reader.

Photobucket While grandfather was off for X-ray, dad brought us to the cafeteria for a quick bite. I was so full due to my lunch that I didn't had anything except a bottle of green tea, which I save most of it for Baby when she visits after her work.

Ah . . .
The cab we took home was so freaking smelly and untidy. The front passenger seat there's a plastic bag. The back seat, rubbish on the floor of the car. I had to endure it all the way home which I don't like. Grr . . .

Finally my internet is back!

Eclipse

http://allancamposarquivo.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/eclipse_stephenie_meyer.jpg Finally I have finished reading this book. Awesome! I thought I am a really slow reader considering that lately I have been busy trying to get online and of course, cleaning and washing the hamsters' tanks and cages. Not to forget busy finding places to 'makan' with the girls this Christmas.

Anyway, [Eclipse], is not one of my favourite book of the [Twilight] saga. My favourite book for now is [Twilight]. I am currently reading [Breaking Dawn], so after I have finished this, I would let you know if I like it better than [Twilight] itself.

I am still in love with Carlisle from the movie. =x

OK, back to the book.

I do not really like the part where Jacob was impolite to Edward, because Edward was trying to be so super polite to him. Grr . . . I still do not understand why the wife prefers Jacob. =x

My favourite character is still Alice. I like the way she wants to help Bella in so many things, like organising a graduation part at the Cullens' place. So nice of her. You know, I wish to have a sister like this. Not like the one I have at home.

To me, this Eclipse is kind of scary at towards the end of the book where the war is about to begin. I mean seriously, the Cullens and the Werewolves are outnumbered but they do still have the confidence in winning the battle against twenty newborn vampires. All are fast in speed, how to win? But whatever, they still managed to kill them both.

I like the part where Seth is killing the vampire. Woots! Super nice~ He can feign injured, how nice. Victoria, the mastermind finally came out and of course she died. You know how they kill vampires? By beheading them. Disgusting. It is a good thing during this era, there is no more beheading.

I still do not like Jacob in Eclipse. He is one jealous guy I do not like. =x

OK, I do not want to divulge more because I know Yan Ling has not read the book.

Food

http://www.businesspundit.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/food2.jpg You know trying to find cheap and affordable place to dine in is super difficult. I have to think about who would be invited, and the budget etc. Not to forget the place. Grr . . .

But whatever.

People, make yourself free on the 27th December 2008. When I said people, it will be Evil Sister, Tong, Sia, Yee etc. So you girls better make yourself free.

Don't ask me where we'll be dining at, because I am still thinking with WanJun. Haha . . .

After seeing so many food on the food blog, I am super hungry now. Grr . . .

Christmas Present!

Photobucket This is my second Christmas present, and it is from someone I barely know. Just sms-ed a few times that's all. No worries, I understand the danger of meeting strangers, but fret not. I asked him to reserve this rare hamhead from me which he bought from Daiso. Yes, I am desperate to have more, actually in different colors. =x

I did offer to pay, and it is not he doesn't want to accept. It is just that I have a ten dollars note, and he doesn't have change. So he say he give it to me as Christmas present. See, how nice.

Note: I do thank him. I seriously do.

Lalala
My first present, no pictures provided was by my precious wife. She gave me a new red earphone. Yippee. I know I might have said it a lot of times, but because I am super happy and contented with this present, I just want to say it again and again. I love it!

You know, presents given by someone you love, has turned into something so precious. A very good example, me. Hehe. Everything Baby gave me, I treat them as though they are rare and couldn't be bought. They are so precious to me. Even the kids. :D

Indirect Matchmaker

http://www.matchmake.com/images/cupid-vector.gif Nice cupid right? Haha . .
I am my friend's, Sandra, indirect matchmaker. Why is that so? Simple~

She saw my nice little blog and you know almost all of my post there's Baby here Baby there. And so . . .
She came to ask me how does it feel. Someone confessed to her, and she was asking about the same questions that I've asked Evil Sister. Haha . . And so, because of my reply, (which I can't remember what I replied) she and her girl are together now! Haha . .

Yup, she's no longer single like me. And she had this sweet girl of her own, although I have not seen her girl's photo before and I don't know who is it. Thus that makes me a matchmaker indirectly.

And she can't stand those people giving them a weird stare. She'll get used to it soon. Woots~

Who wants a matchmaking service?
