First Day of Work

Photobucket I am ready for work with my new pair of socks.

Photobucket People meet Scruffy. He's a miniature Schnauzer, currently 6 years old.

Photobucket People meet Chewy. He's a cockle spaniel? Currently 4 years old. He is the one that kissed me today. Scruffy was kind of shy and timid though.

Photobucket After a little tour by Sunita, a little talk with Bratina I am off for work till 6:34pm. Start work at 10:30am, ended at 6:34pm. Note that my end of work is 7:30pm. But from what Sunita said as long as I did my work and everything, I just let them know that I am leaving early if I want to I think.

The whole day, I am seeing words. English words. Thank goodness it's not in Chinese. Haha . . .

OK, I've brought work home. So I'm off to work. Tata~

Morning~

Morning everyone. I am wide awake now filled with excitement for this brand new day. I do not know what is waiting for me today out there, and I am quite nervous.

I mean, it is something new that I have not done before and there's so many like possibilities out there. For this new opportunity given, there are many things I want to say.

Firstly, I thank God for guiding me through and making me wait for a long period of time before having this internship job. I know it is something that he had planned for me, and I know it is something he wants me to work in.

Secondly, I thank the wife for supporting me and the 12 kids thus far. Without her, I guess me and the 12kids would most probably starve to death. But then, the kids seem to be fattening up except like me and Tiny? haha . .

Thirdly, I'm so happy.

OK, I'm off to prepare myself for the big day.

See ya.

P.S. I feel like getting a phone that has wifi/ipod touch, so that I can at least go online and tweet while on the train. Haha . . . But then, hmm . . . I shall wait for Christmas sale. :D

Production Assistant

I got a call from Hoods Inc. Production, and guess what?

I GOT THE JOB!

I'll be a Production Assistant as an intern. So what if I am an intern? I'm there to learn first, get the experience then I will decide if I want to move on in this area. Although I had the thought that Production Assistant (PA) isn't the kind of job I am looking for, but I keep telling myself that it is the first step to learn more on production. I keep telling myself that if I want to carve out my career, I must accept and learn from the very basics, and so PA is my choice.

I am quite excited yet nervous. I won't know what I will be looking forward to tomorrow and what kind of job I'm given. But I believe that even just washing the toilet, cleaning the production house, buying breakfast in the morning for the production crew/team is just part of the experience. People might look at it as a 'sai kang' but well, actually I do thought so. But it's OK. I'll take it as a preparation to be a good housewife in future.

The wife is reminding me to be a sponge. Learn everything, work fast. In areas that I am not sure of, ask. The person that interviewed me the other day reminded me, if I've any problem in work, just speak to her. If any areas I don't know or finished with the task given, tell her or I can't remember who, just don't tell the intern.

One thing I will say is that, my family isn't happy about the job. =x
But I shall ignore it. Tomorrow will be a better day.

OK, what shall I wear tomorrow?
T-shirt and shorts? T-shirt and bermudas? How about shoe or slipper? Hmm . . . Any ideas?

My Interview

Photobucket I had my interview today with Hoods Inc. Production at 11am in the morning. I can say I got up real early to prepare. I called the wife to wake up. I dragged myself up. I packed my bag for what is needed, bathe changed and ready to go.

At first when I searched for the location, I got was River Valley, and my first thought was where the hell this place is. I continued to search for the nearest MRT station or what bus I can get to my destination. Then I realized it is only walking distance from Somerset MRT station. When I looked at the map, it looks kind of far, but when I had the actual walk to the place it is actually quite near.

I reached the place, a little confused because around the place was condo or some private housing/terraces. Then I saw one uncle that is doing delivery, I went up to him. Thank goodness he said I was at the right place and he helped me with the buzzer thing. He even tell me where the unit was. Haha. Friendly and helpful uncle. Where can you find such uncle these days?

They had this home office kind of style. If I am not wrong, they have two dogs locked upstairs in the office. Didn't get to meet them though. Curious to know what breed the dogs were, but kind of forgot to ask. =x

The interview went well, I can. The first question I am prepared, really prepared for now. She asked me to describe myself. I know I sucks at replying this questions and thus prepared myself last night and this early morning. And I can say for this question, today is my best answer! Haha . . .
Then she asked me what do I think of the company. Uh-oh. The website of theirs only showed me the logo and the contact/address. I really didn't know what they are doing other than production. I thought maybe commercials/advertisements. But haha . . . Micky is observant for today. I saw the poster they had along the hallway, took a glimpse of it and I managed to answer in the most predictable ways. =x

She told me more on the job etc. And how many they had released off for the past few weeks due to different working style, or the job is not what the interns are looking for. And by the way, I applied for internship instead. You know, gaining experience for me now is important. haha . . .

Anyway, the whole interview I can saw was a positive one. She asked me will I be available for the past few months because if I am shortlisted I am supposed to report to work soon. I told her I am going for a wedding this coming May at Malaysia. Woohoo . . .

I even shared with her that I might want to take up part-time degree and she said not to worry about the timing etc. She say just tell her when I won't be available if I managed to get a place for a degree. Woohoo . . .

So happy can. I've never been this happy after an interview. Weee . . .
I rewarded myself with Mac Lunch today. Haha . . .

I just wish to be busy

There are many things revolving around my little brain. I just wish to be busy, but how? In actual fact, I am sick and tired of job hunting. But then if I don't, how am I to earn for my degree that I plan to take next year?

Charitable Ella Treats Old Lady to a Meal
[2009.03.25]

Ella from S.H.E certainly had a very kind heart. Last Saturday she took the initiative to help an old lady at Yong-Kang Street. This charitable incident was posted in a blog entry by someone who witnessed the act and was moved by it. When Ella was interviewed about it on March 24th, she said with some embarrassment: [This is such an insignificant matter that it is not worth mentioning. If you want to do good deeds, don’t be shy about it, just do it.]

Bystander Lending a Helping Hand
She Turn out to be…

According to the blog, that evening in a side alley near Yong-Kang Park, there was an old lady slowly pushing a cart heavily loaded with recycled materials and causing traffic congestion behind her. Suddenly there was a passer-by who wanted to help the old lady but was refused. It was then that the witness realized in surprise that the passer-by was Ella.

Yet that was not the end of the story as Ella and the old lady were destined to cross path again. Ella shared that she saw the old lady as she was on her way home after exercising that day. After she was refused, Ella went to buy a ticket for a charity lottery. At that point, the old lady appeared again and said: [Kindhearted miss, good luck in winning a prize.] The old lady continued: [You are such a nice person. You have money to buy the lottery but even for a meal, I don’t have any money.]

Also Donate to Charity $20 Spare Change

Ella immediately expressed: [Grandmother (common way to call an old lady) , how about if I treat you to a meal?] This time the old lady agreed. Because she was going to exercise, therefore she did not have her purse with her. After buying the lottery ticket, she only had $100 on her. After she purchased food for the old lady, she then donated the $20 spare change that was left over into the [Bread of Love] saving box for which she was the spokesperson, [That was a pretty fulfilling day.]

I Just Want to Blog

I do not know what to write for this entry, but I just want to blog. I am currently in a sleepy mode waiting for 12pm to arrive as I'll be meeting one of the wife's customer.

But then again, I am still sleepy.
I wish to get back on my bed and have a wonderful sleep. But then again, I have things undone. Ask me what it is, and I'll say job hunting. :(

With the economic downturn and with the job experience/job requirements, I just don't fit the bill. But whatever. I still want to send in my resume whether they like it or not. There's a saying, no harm trying. :D

Oh yes.
I've asked my mother to get some potatoes. Will be making shepherd's pie roughly next Saturday for the wife. She better not complain if it isn't up to standard. =x

For now.

Hotel for Dogs

Photobucket Today when I was about to go out to meet the wife, this silly fellow didn't allow me to. He blocked the entrance. =.= But nevermind, I still manage to in my own ways.

Photobucket We went to P.S, straight off towards the cinema to get movie tickets. 3:40pm time slot the seats left the first 3 rows thus we don't want. We took the 6pm slot. Can't use the $8 voucher. :(

After getting the tickets, we went to Daiso for a walk. Got myself a new mouse pad! See, my mouse pad nice right? Two donuts and a cup of coffee as the picture. Sure hungry everyday.

Had Carl's Junior for dinner. Yummy~

http://www.impawards.com/2009/posters/hotel_for_dogs.jpgAfter the wife got me my bottle of starfruit drink, we're off towards the cinema. So excited! I've been waiting for this movie for so so so long.

Hotel for Dogs is a nice movie!
Dogs/animal lover sure will love it. To me, quite touching, but not as touching as Marley and Me. If I am not wrong, the wife sitting next to me did cry right?

It's about two kids who found this abandoned hotel with the help of their dog, Friday. So cute! I like Friday. So clever. He knows how to wriggle out of the collar. Haha . . .
The two kids with the help of their friends rescued dogs and they turned the abandoned hotel into some sort of dog's hotel and a little of theme park. There's things to entertain the dogs while they were not around.

I won't go into details.
Catch it if you're interested to know more. It's a worth it movie!

I got back, and I packed the table. Plug in the extra 15" LCD monitor to my laptop. Now I have double screens to look at. Haha . . . But need some adjusting. :(

My Job Interview Experience

Previously like a few days ago I was chatting with Goh, or rather reading all that she had typed on MSN. She came to ask me about my job interview experience, then it came to me like what's my job interview experience like. So I've decided to like share all the failed job interview experiences I had and what I had learned from it.

Note, this is not tips on job interview.

  • Being punctual is a must. Like everyone said, it's always the first impression you give when being punctual. So ignore your interviewers if they are the one late.
  • Hand shakes is very important especially the way you hand shake with your interviewer. I learned it during school, can't remember if it's in which module thought. You know, hand shakes have meaning.
  • Looking neat and confident is a must. But then sometimes you just can't hide your nervous part of you. That happens to me during my first job interview that I went. But whatever, at least I have sort of learning to control my nervous self.
  • The wife always reminds me to smile and talk more because it is an added point. OK, but then I still don't see any points added for me. I gave them my million dollar smile. Sometimes by smiling too much, the jaw will kind of ache though. Haha . . .
  • Always prepare documents ready. You know there's once I went for job interview and they asked for my passport size photo? Ya, I forgot to bring one with me, the one and only passport size photo I had. And there goes, a bad remark.
  • What I learned through the hard way was, after the whole interview when they said they'll call you back if you're shortlisted blahx blahx blahx. Higher chance is that you don't make it. So just forget about the job interview and move on for more job hunting and sending of resume. Even if they do call you, and said they'll hire you as a part-timer first. Don't be too happy because they won't ask you down for work. It happens to me you know. They might show you the office, the team members etc. etc. But you are still at home shaking leg. =.=
But of course there are more things that I have learnt during my job interviews. Like don't pin my hope too high.
OK, that's roughly what I have learned.

Nothing to Blog

You know you know.
I've nothing to blog like recently. Is it because I am getting older or is it that there's simply nothing to blog?

I have been sitting at home, surfing the internet especially sghamsters forum. And yes, I have been using the shoutbox function there to chat. But then, I want to blog badly lahx. But I just can't find a topic to blog. You know, writer's block?

OK. So here goes.

Get well soon wifey!

Should I?

Should I change my blog URL?

Pachelbel Canon

I personally like this piece a lot. And have been dying to learn. But . . .
Micky don't really know how to read score except the basic ones, and she didn't know how to which note is it on the piano. If I ever have the chance, I want to learn to play the piano.

I have always like my other half to play this piece of music during special occasions like my birthday or the annual anniversary etc. Even if it's not on special occasions, by playing it just for me I will truly feel touched.

Isn't it a wonderful piece of music?
I won't get tired from listening to it. Hehe . . .

Frustrated

http://www.funnycatpix.com/_pics/angry_wet_cat.jpg I am simply frustrated of what's happening lately. I know I am an easy target to bully. I know I don't fight back, but that doesn't mean you can climb up onto my head!

Like many said, I have my patience. And you've overstep the border!

First you asked for the side shelves to be taken down. Then you asked for the table to be taken off because you fucking-ly want to re-design the room. OK, forget it. I'm fine with that. But the outcome was not what I wanted. You get a HUGE cupboard, bigger than mine that was handed down to me by my grandmother. Then you bought yourself a HUGE ass table with a nice white chair to go along with. Not to forget, a lock like mini cupboard that matches your table. That takes up half of where the window is.

Then the kind mother gave us a nice big drawer like cupboard. I took two, and you took three drawers. You said it wasn't enough and you wanted one more. Are you nuts! If I give you ONE more, where do I have to place my socks. DON'T FORGET YOU FUCKING SMELLY BEDSHEETS ARE OCCUPYING MY CUPBOARD! I didn't complain about it, and now you're making noises.

Then there's this 3 drawers cabinet. You said I was to take two and one is enough for you. Who knows deep down secretly, you chuck all my things WITHOUT permission into one cramp drawer and you fucking-ly TORN my S.H.E PLAY album. FUCK YOU!

Never mind. I bear with the small little damage on my collection. Best thing was, you pack the whole room, you chuck all my things out. Then you occupy two of my shelves. You threw away one of my bag that I didn't use often. Is this how you treat your sister? What's next? Throw me out of the room for good?

Never mind. I can forget all of the above. But I won't forget this.

YOU BOYFRIEND FUCKING-LY MOLESTED ME LAST LABOUR DAY!

I was badly shaken and traumatized till this date. I kept it mum, because I don't know how to say it to my parents.
So how are you and your molester boyfriend going to pay for my mental health issue?

I just have to let it out because I can't take it any longer.
You treated my friends badly, why should I treat you better?

Flood

Photobucket One thing I didn't like to take bus during rainy day because it is always super flooded with water from the overhead bridge to the bus stop. And today's flood was the worse experience I ever had. I had to fold my jeans to get my way to the bus stop like an aunty.

One thing that spoil my mood today was to meet this particular customer. Previously asking her parents to meet me to collect her hamster's food, then when I reached Compass Point via bicycle, I got a call from the wife saying not meeting anymore. Then now, she say meet me at Compass Point. OK, fine since I'm meeting another customer. Due to heavy rain, she tell me traffic jam, say meet me at my place. Crazy. Why would I want to go back to my place?

I took train to City Hall to be caught in human jam all the way until Marina Square's exit. Super damn pack and it took me more than 30minutes to reach Suntec Convention hall level 6 to meet Jun.

Walked my second round of IT fair, and Jun was thinking of getting GPS. Eileen was thinking of getting 320GB external harddisk, but none is within her budget. The cheapest price she could find was $99.

Anyway, skip to dinner.

Photobucket Dinner at Thai Express. (Tilt your head to see picture) I had a bowl of noodle, can't remember what it is. Jun had a plate of hor fun, which is spicy and salty. Eileen had a bowl of tom yum noodle. We ordered this extra mini tom yum steamboat to be shared. Super delicious! I like the tom yum. Sweet sweet sour sour spicy spicy. Yummy!

After dinner, Jun and I went back to IT fair. She bought GPS. Yahoo! Next time when she fetch me around, I shall touch the GPS. Can play video and music you know. Haha . . . It will be distracting for the driver though. But whatever.

I saw this mickey mouse mp3 player, quite tempted to get. But . . . $70! So expensive!

A Trip to the Zoo

I was a little tired, but I still want to blog my trip to the zoo. I had a wonderful day there apart from the sun burn.

I woke up super early to make sandwiches for everyone, and I was quite happy they eat it as a form of breakfast. :D But they say my egg sandwich the pepper isn't enough. OK, I'll put in more the next time.

Photobucket Isn't the two girls cute? We went together with Jun's friends. I can't remember the name though, but these two little girls belong to one of Jun's friend who had become a mother already. Going to the zoo with small kids is quite an experience I would say. I don't get to go to the zoo with my little cousins or nephews. And when I do go to the zoo with cousins, I was quite young, before primary school I think, so the experience I had then was different from what I had now.

I prayed to God hoping it doesn't rain during my journey. So throughout the whole day, I can say it was a perfect day until the end.

Photobucket We strolled in the zoo as a group and we came to the Australian Outback. Dear touched this bird who sat there quite still. She's an animal lover, I can tell. Throughout the whole journey, she is like touching animals.

JiaXuan, one of the two small girls, the elder one, was like a tour guide leading us along. They knew there is a few stingray at a small pond near the Zoo entrance. We barely walked half of the zoo, the girls are making a din asking to get to the Rainforest Kidzworld. They are eager to get to this pool created for kids while the parents rest their aching feet.

Before we head off to the Kidzworld, we watched quite a many of the Animal Shows. Although most of the shows are like repeating, I still quite like the Splash Safari. Because of the sealion! Not the penguin. OK, my next trip to the zoo, I want to take picture with the sealion and have a super big and wet kiss from him.

Photobucket Although I refused to take a picture with Ah Meng and friends years ago because I was super afraid of many animals, I decided to take a picture with Ah Meng's statue. In memory of Singapore's star, I took a picture with Ah Meng's statue with the persuasion of Jun. =.=

Photobucket We head off to the Rainforest Kidzworld, where the two small kids went off to play at the water pool, while we the adults rested our feet and had lunch. We had KFC for lunch and had women's talk. And best of all, we are having women's outing today. Isn't it good? And as I was flipping and playing around with the Zoo's map, I notice that there is a feeding time nearby to the Guinea Pigs and Rabbits which got the wife's interest. And there, we are off to the feeding area.

Photobucket We took some carrots and long beans from the zoo keeper, and the wife started feeding the small animals. I feed once, and the stupid huge ass Guinea Pig snatch from me. :( So bad. The wife managed to feed her favourite Giant Rabbit some long beans although the zoo keeper said the giants are not to be fed, but he allow her to feed them some long beans. She is like a child when coming to this feeding of small animals.

Photobucket Going to the zoo, it is best to bring a manual fan, or a electronic fan that operated via battery. See, I like my panda fan so much. Bought it at Thailand. Haha . . . Left one though.

Photobucket Before we left the kidzworld, we had a photo taking at the pet's corner, insisted by Jun.

Photobucket Then Jun insisted we take a picture with the Orchids because it is 国花.

Photobucket Then we were made to take picture with this huge fake durian. JiaXuan wanted to join in, so she came and stood with us. JiaXuan is quite adorable. She helped me keep my zoo map inside my bag. Then hold my hand walk all of a sudden.

Photobucket The wife and I had fun guessing the gender of this animal. Lol . . .

Photobucket After many shots, finally we got one without people walking by, or people standing behind us. This picture was taken by JiaXuan who volunteered to be our photographer.

Photobucket Saw this huge leave, and was made to take picture with it. It is so big that I can pluck it out and wrap it around me.

We walked towards the polar bear area and JiaXuan insist in sitting with me while the other adults are having photo taking. JiaXuan even insist in taking a picture with me at the entrance towards the Polar Bear exhibit.

As it was about to rain, we hurried towards the entrance. And while walking, both JiaXuan and JiaXin held my hands as we walked. And one of Jun's friend said I look like the mother bringing out two of my daughters. Lol . . .

Photobucket We took a group photo before Jun send her friends off to Bukit Panjang while the wife and me waited for her return at the zoo because it was raining.

While waiting, the wife and I got a little hungry and we bought Beef Shepherd's pie and a slice of Hawaiian Pizza that is cut into four. We left one small slice for Jun although when she ate it was quite cold. You know the pie and the pizza was super delicious although the portion was small and it cost $11.90 in total.

See, going out to the zoo with small kids was an experience, you just need to experience it yourself.

A small note to Jun: Thanks for asking out to the zoo and sending us home. Enjoyed ourselves, hope you too. :D

Job Interview

http://workexposed.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/job-interview.jpg Yesterday I went to Singapore Post Centre for an interview with Values-Led representative of HSBC. (Did I get the facts wrongly?) It was an informal kind of interview. There are three people that went for the interview, and that three included me. Two guys, and one girl which is me. We went into this manager little space, and we had sort of chit chat session rather than an interview.

The job that I was invited to for an interview was Financial Planner. The manager gave a run through of what the job is about. Sounds interesting, but like the other guy, Eugene who went for the interview as well, I'm still considering. But can I say, I've already decided?

Anyway, the whole thing took up about 2 hours. Tiring.
Don't ask me what's the final conclusion because this interview has three stages. After the third stage, then there is a final conclusion which I doubt I'll be going even for the second one.

OK, just to side track for a little while.
I'm craving for prawn noodle! The one at beach road, the army market they call it. Argh. I so crave for it that I can have two bowls of it. Yummy Yummy Yum Yum . . .

Dinner @ Beach Road

Photobucket Meet up the wife last night at her workplace. She's bringing me out to eat good food. And recently because I have not much cravings and appetite growing smaller, I do not really know what to have for dinner. And so, we walked towards Beach Road to get the light sticks first before deciding what's for dinner.

We had dinner at this army market (that's what most people called it I guess). I didn't know what to eat, and so I used the slogan the wife used "surprise me". And she ordered bacon pasta for me, and for herself was prawn noodle. Super delicious can for the prawn noodle. I also want. Now I'm craving for prawn noodle. *drool*

The best part was, we had dessert. Had this ice cream and waffer at Belgian Chocolate. It's located at the army market too. And it was nice! I like the lychee ice cream. The green tea ice cream was so much nicer than the ones I had at P.S. Oh and the pineapple ice cream was super sour and I had to finish it because the wife don't take sour. Aww . . . But I enjoyed myself. :D

Can we go there again for the prawn noodle?
Jun, let's go there makan!

Change

http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/pic/AGF/8613~Change-Posters.jpg Changes take place, everyday, every hour, every minute, every second. Places do change, so does human and animals, not to forget the climate/weather. Things will be different from the way it used to be.

I change, you change, we change. Changes is everywhere, it's unavoidable. I see changes take place in the neighbourhood, my childhood place and many more. It's impossible for things/people to stay the way it is. So if we ever see a change in certain places or someone, let's not be alarm cos changes takes place all the time.

Cycling Cycling

Jun asked me out today to her friend's wedding. We reached Tampines to find many Vespar bikes vroom vroom around. We had lunch at the wedding, and the food was super spicy. Malay food are always spicy. But the rice is quite nice. I didn't take the chicken because I feel like eating the achar.

Then we drove back home to my place and was off to cycle. But first we repair the old bike. Had to change the tyre and inner tube. Total damage $50 for two wheels. Then rode half way to realize my new bike's inner tube burst. Then we rode back to the shop. And this is what the uncle said,

Normally new bikes the inner rubber tube is made of low quality. So they will burst easily, so I suggest you to change the inner tube for two wheels.

But then because I realized my bank left not much, so I told Uncle I'll change the back one first. The front, another day. I sms-ed the wife about it, and she thought my bike had some parts went wrong.

I learnt something new today. New bikes the inner rubber tube always have problems because of low quality material. So if you bought a new bike and the tyre went wrong don't be alarm.

Jun and I rode towards Punggol, lots of slopes which I don't really like. We rode to her future house which is still a piece of land for now. Jun said after moving in to Punggol, she'll get a bike of her own and we're off cycling during our free time. We rode around Punggol finding Punggol Plaza. After which go over to the small little high way thing and we're at SengKang and off home to park the bike before dinner.

One conclusion for the entire cycling trip, tiring.
After not exercising much since I graduate from high school, I've realized my stamina had dropped tremendously. So I think I need to go on a healthy lifestyle once again. So may be jogging next to Punggol, suggested by Jun. *faint*

Can we have erm, badminton instead?

Oh one last thing.

Jun, thank you for the water bottle holder for two bikes and the remaining money for the tyre repairment. :D
Treat you home bake apple muffin. :D

Singapore Hamsters Outing

Went to Causeway Point today with the wife with two of our daughters and a few packets of hamsters' food. And the lucky daughter is Pebbles and Poco. They went out with us today practically the whole day.

Upon reaching Causeway Point, we both waited at the entrance for the others to arrive. And there greeted us was 阿花 (They joked by calling her this, and to speak frankly I've forgotten her nick in the forum. But it has something to do with flower.) and another girl, I can't remember. But she brought her two nieces out. At first I thought the nieces was her daughters instead.

Hamster forum gathering was kind of fun, only if I wasn't that sleepy and tired today. Didn't really had much sleep late last night because of certain reasons. But then again, they are funny in some ways.

We meet the others up at Mos Burger, had lunch there and of course sharing experiences and other stuffs regarding about hamsters. And they are all so friendly, I can say. They pass around food to hamsters which is a good thing and a good start. My first time going on an outing.

Poco had a free nail trimming by Ah Lian.

After lunch, took D&D's car towards HammieCamp's place. Super lots of hamsters in her house! Then we started taking our own hamsters out to interact and play. The wife tried holding onto a Robo. The first one she held, just gently stroke his head and he's off to sleep instead of the Robo's nature, run and being jumpy.

And this reminds me of being in D&D's car. The wife tried touching his Robo, who jumped up and started running around the car. The passengers are all frantic and trying to find the Robo. I think cars around us, those people might be thinking what are we doing. And the Robo ran towards the driver's seat and towards the acceleration and break peddle. Nice.

We had fun gossiping about some hamster's breeder and some members on the forum. But whatever. You just listen and forget about it the next thing.

Next we split up into three groups and was off towards Serangoon North. The journey there was hilarious especially the conversation they had. Bought new CFU bedding for the dwarfs and got another huge carrier, which is blue in color. Then bought apple wood chew for the kids to gnaw their teeth. The wife is learning to trim their nails. As for me, I'll just stick to my daily/weekly and monthly routine.

If there is another outing and the place they meet up is somewhat reasonable, I don't mind going.

Marley and Me (Movie)

http://askspikeonline.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/marley-and-me.jpg I've read the book last year, super touching and love the book to bits. The book that I bought has a page on the column John wrote to Marley. Super touching too.

Met the wife up at Bugis last night, watching Marley and Me at the 9pm slot at Shaw. The wife was late, so I get the tickets first. Can I say it's my first time purchasing movie tickets after 20 years of my life? Bahx . . . That's not important.

Straight to Marley and Me.

The starting of the show I find it quite exciting. The book was great with good reviews, so does the movie and so I wanted to watch it badly even more. I like the puppy Labrador, they're cute. In the movie, when John and Jenny were looking at the puppies, the dog owner said that Marley will got at a cheaper rate. And so that's how Marley got the nickname as clearance puppy.

I quite like how Marley howl during thunder storm although it was quite different from the story. I expect him to be injured and bleeding during thunder storms when the owners are out. But the movie came out different. Well, what can we expect? Movies will always be a little or more different from the books.

Although the story plot was different from the book I quite like it although it seem to be a little draggy for me in the middle.

One thing I don't enjoy the movie was that I had to be like a giraffe craning my neck up just to watch the movie in full screen. The person in front of me wasn't that tall when he's seated, but he just block my view. Shaw's seating was unlike GV or Cathay, because they don't give me the craning of neck problem, even when I am leaning towards the wife with my head on her shoulder. But only Shaw gives me this problem, which I don't really like. But what to do, it is one of the earliest slow available among cinemas nearest to the wife's working place.

Ah . . .
We can't miss out the most important part. The ending. Although most touching movies I have watched with the wife so far doesn't make me tear as much as this Marley and Me. Maybe because of I have lost countless of hamsters before in the past that made me understand and relate to the ending part more.

It was sad, and the wife and me were wiping our tears on one another sleeves. Now my jacket has her tear drop smell. =.=

Marley and Me was a good movie in that sense that it also portrays the starting of a new family. With the coming of babies, and the chaotic lives with a dog around too. And blahx blahx blahx . . . So it actually shows us that starting a family and having a dog altogether isn't an easy task and would make me really think twice for the future. Although by looking at the wife and me financially, it's impossible to even raise a dog.

Anyway, people, Marley and Me is a recommended movie. :D

It's March

It's already March! How time flies . . .

Miho is already back at home since last Saturday and I won't be seeing her until the next dog show I suppose. How I miss her so much. I miss playing bang bang with her. I miss how I teach her to shake hand and high five. How I miss everyday waking up to be greeted with a happy dog that licks me excitedly. I miss the days where we went for a walk. The days where she sleep peacefully on my chair or arms.

Now why isn't my dog that small size and that adorable? Sigh . . .
Male dogs are tend to be more playful I guess.

I foresee this week I'll be busy.
I need to make sure no bugs is attacking my kids. I need to make sure my kids have a nice and clean environment for the month of March. I need to make sure the food for them is enough.
And not to forget, delivering orders if there is a need to.

Busy busy busy.

Oh . . .
I want to thank Jun for recommending some jobs for me. I'll be applying them soon once I've edited a little of my resume. :D
