Shrek Happily Ever After

Managed to catch Shrek yesterday at AMK Hub. =D Second movie of the month. I'm a happy girl. =D

I love this movie~
Why?

Because it gives me the message that I should treasure what I have now, and not regret it when it is gone. =D
Good movie with good message that put it across.

The bad part of the movie?

Inconsiderate students who made lots of noise and kids that won't shut up. Didn't the parents teach them the basic courtesy when watching a movie in theaters? Sigh . . .

The bad guy so funny. Got wigs for different emotions. =x

OK, time to pack my stuff.

Ip Man 2

I watched Ip Man 2 with wife yesterday at AMK hub. Sadly, there's some very inconsiderate teenagers I suppose that is making lots of noise throughout the movie.

What I can say is that I like the movie.

The fighting scenes and the teaching of the purpose of martial arts. Other than that I have not much of a comment. While watching the whole movie, I have this feeling of wanting to learn wushu all over again if I have the chance. But the school fees aren't cheap.

My 21st

I am officially 21 yesterday. Spent most of the time in bed due to the flu. Wasn't feeling that well thus parents cancelled the visiting of relatives and friends for red packets. But I felt much better today. =D

Dad gave me a red packet, and he secretly hides behind the door to see my reaction. So sweet of him.

Although I spent most of my time on my birthday at home and on bed, I managed to dragged myself out of bed towards Bishan to catch a movie with my wife. =D And yes, I got a birthday cake this year from her. =D I always have a birthday cake from her every year without fail. =D It's high time I do the same too.

We watched [Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif] last night. Initially wanted to watch [True Legend] because it's a martial art kind of film, but I suppose the wife isn't really interested in those kind of movies, so I decided to watch [Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif].

Since it's the month of February, and that I am a member of Golden Village, I have a free movie one to one ticket voucher. =D So we paid $10 for the other ticket and we're off to watch this movie. I didn't know what this movie is about, neither did I read the story. The wife said it's something like Harry Potter and the review of it was good. So there we go.

Had an hour before the movie starts. Being sick, I had Mos Burger for 2nd round of dinner with my wife. =x Yummy~ But the soup wasn't that nice though.

Anyway, the movie was somewhat interesting, but can be better. If to compare with Harry Potter, the beginning was quite a like. Harry and Percy didn't know who they really are. Then bad guys are all coming after them. They go to special school/camp that is for their own kind. They travel by floo powder/pearl. One had a broom to fly, the other is by flying shoe. At the end of the day, they are the ones that save the day.

Maybe I should start reading the story of Percy Jackson. The movie is worth our $10. =D

Avatar in 3D

I booked the movie tickets for Avatar in 3D last Saturday with the approval from the wife. We both were quite curious into why so many people tweeted and said Avatar is a must watch movie especially in 3D. And so we both went ahead.

Watched Avatar in 3D at Shaw, Bugis. I didn't really like the cinema there because of the seats, but was given a good review about the 3D effects there. So why not we just give it a go.

The 3D glasses was so different from the one at Cathay, AMK. It was much heavier than what I expect. Somehow when I put on the 3D glasses and watched the trailer of [Alice in Wonderland], it was so much different. I can now see the effect that I did not when I was watching [Ice Age 3 in 3D] at AMK. It feels as though I am in the movie itself. It's so damn awesome, and due to the trailer effects in 3D, I can't wait for the movie to start.

Avatar is not only about blue aliens fighting humans. But also shows me that we need to protect our mother land just like those blue aliens.

Apart from what I see from the movie, I like the visuals and effects in 3D. The movie was hilarious at certain area. What I like best was when it's night time at the scene, where they walk, there would be light. If you watch the movie, you'd understand what I mean.

When I started watching the trailer of Avatar, I didn't really understand the whole story. But after watching the entire movie rather than bits and pieces of the movie, I can see and understand what the story is all about.

If you plan to watch Avatar, watch it in 3D. It's mad awesome!

Wife and I would be going back to Shaw, Bugis for our future 3D experience although the seat sucks. =x

Two Movie Entries =D

My readers will be in for a long entry today. =D I am going to write up 2 movie reviews in my own words and expression as well as my thoughts on them. =D

First would be 2012.

http://api.ning.com/files/XLRPY1pU6bFUuQixoLuc407oRKD9eGnaZ3vOOWxQjUnBImxirld37rxDgysOBa2oJmyDuSaHJw*-CLettM8lCxYsiaKO58GP/2012_movie_poster2a.jpg I've watched this movie together with Tsuma and her poly-mates. =D We were slightly late for the starting of the movie, but oh well. It's OK. As expected that many people would be dying so I kind of feel nothing much during the whole movie. What I did not expect was that the movie is rather long. I had a backache after the whole movie. =(

Somehow, it gave me the impression of Noah's Ark towards the end of the movie. If you read the bible, or know about the story on Noah's Ark, then you probably understand what I am talking about. The flood, the ark, the animals etc. Somehow what was different about this movie is that they don't have Noah. And their ark is made of metal. And that the animals were carried and flown by helicopters.

Anyway, throughout the movie, it made me realized that life is indeed short and that there's something I need to do to achieve my dream. It also made me realized that somehow I love my wife so much that I wished to be there for her always. You know how some movies made you think a lot regarding about life? Yup, 2012 made me have the kind of feeling. Life is so short that I just want to live life to the fullest and cherish what I have.

http://www.vitasusa.com/images/2ld9fuf.jpg I catched Mulan with Tsuma today at AMK Hub. I like this movie! Teared quite a lot because of the emotion problem.

Somehow it is quite different from the Mulan Disney I've watched when I was young. And this is the different kind of battle movies I have seen in the past. This is kind of interesting and I quite like it. =D

Zhao Wei has become Tsuma's favourite actress. And since Tsuma likes Mulan the character as well as Zhao Wei the actress, I thought that there's no harm trying to watch this movie. And I kind of quite like the movie after all. =D It's worth the money.

It tells me that whatever the setback was, I have to face it bravely and not escape.

The part(s) that I like was when Zhao Wei fought in the camp just to help her fellow camp mate from getting bullied. I like it because I get to watch a little of martial arts in the movie. Other than that it's either military strategies or just fighting and killing with swords and arrows.

I think that this movie is worth to watch, although I don't really like the ending. =( It's not what I expected. =(

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/11/28/article-1090292-02A09FD4000005DC-534_634x459.jpg I've watched the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince at Genting. And I have loads of questions.

1. How come Ginny is taller than Harry?
2. How come the movie didn't tell us why Professor Snape is the half blood prince?
3. I thought during the scene when Professor Dumbledore died, Harry was supposed to be stunned and not being able to move?

Anyway, the movie was OK. Not my favourite among the Harry Potter series. So far, the best one that I like was Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. Because Daniel Radcliffe acted well during the scene where Sirius Black was killed.

Anyway, back to half blood prince.

I like the movie when they showed me Tom Felton aka Draco Malfoy. Other than that, the movie was OK.

There's some hilarious scene, and one part where I know something will grab Harry, my wife scare me. I knew the thing will appear, but the wife's grabbed scare me.

Actually I don't mind watching it again for the Tom Felton scene. *grins*

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

http://www.dezinerfolio.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/iceage3poster.JPG I watched the Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs last Saturday in 3D at AMK Hub.

Although I didn't watch the first two of the Ice Age movie, but I would say I quite like the movie. I watched it in 3D as everyone should know by now. But apparently, I didn't like it when I am watching the movie and there's kids voices almost everywhere. There's even phone ringing. How sickening can this be? They should know that they have to be quiet in the cinema isn't it?

Well anyway, the starting of the movie was alright. Then came the mammoth and his friend running and screaming that "it is coming". But then it is the false alarm. If you are asking me which part of the movie was my favourite, I would say it is the part where the 3 baby dinosaurs were born.

I also quite like the part where the mammoth and his friends made their way to the dinosaurs land to find their friend. The journey was hilarious.

"Welcome to my world"

Woots~
I like the ending. I like the movie.
And I won't say much about it in case some of you have not watched it yet. If you ask me to rate this movie, I will rate it a 3.5 out of 5. =D
It's worth the movie ticket. =D

Xmen Origins: Wolverine

http://www.internationalhero.co.uk/w/wolverine3.jpg I have watched Xmen Origins: Wolverine today at Jurong Point. I know Jurong Point is so far away for me and it's like more than an hour's ride via MRT. But because the wife is meeting her friends there to celebrate birthday, we had no choice but to go. Actually I'm there just for the movie. I'm kind of glad that I got to catch a movie before I officially start work next Monday.

Anyway, the movie starting was great. It shows how Logan/Wolverine knows how he had claws and who his real biological father was. Then it shows on how he and his brother fought during wars and how he walked out of his brother who just likes to kill.

The whole show was nice and I like the way it is. The wife was telling me about how long it takes to render a movie. Now I know it is a lot of time spent just to have a movie out. You see, if you study things regarding media, you'll see things differently.

But anyway, I hate watching a movie where there is kids near me. One word, noisy.

OK, back to the movie.

I now know why Wolverine has forgotten about his past and how he had his metal thing like claws and how he had the ability to heal. Isn't that nice? There's some hilarious part of the movie too. Hehe . . .

Overall, I enjoyed the movie. And if you are an Xmen fan, it's a must watch. Everyone was talking about Hugh Jackman being naked in the movie, well it didn't show much except for the butt and the upper body of his. Quite muscular but the shape of it isn't to my liking and he isn't blonde. =x

P.S. My son is bleeding like mad. Trying to stop the bleeding before washing of wound and applying pet's iodine. =( Might be visiting the vet tomorrow.

Bad Dog's Diary: Blake's Progress

https://www.popular.com.sg/images/product/book/84202.jpg Finally I am done reading this book after many months. Now I can aim to get the other books that I am aiming to get. Woots~

Bad's Dog Diary is mainly about this dog name, Blake. He came up with all sorts of ideas to get his friends out to the shed so they could explore the streets at night. Blake and his friends got together to form a group to save a very sick looking dog, Lolly, who was being ill treated by her master.

The book also talk about how he tries to get his mate, Ella, pregnant during her season period. And after many failed attempts, he managed to during his owner's absence at the hospital with his wife.

The whole story tells how he from a top dog of the park, became a beta and had a new nick name to go with.

A worth to read book if you're interested in the animal kingdom. I like this kind of book where the author puts himself in the shoe of a dog to write out the diary. I thought it was nice because when we do have a pet, we wouldn't know what they will be thinking. So I thought by getting creative and imaginative, maybe we could just guess what's on their mind.

OK, time to put this book up on the shelve. Woohoo...

People, it's Friday tomorrow! If you understand what I mean. It's Labour Day people, the public holiday for the month is here. Woohoo...

OK, now I'm waiting for dumpling day instead. Haha . . .

Hotel for Dogs

Photobucket Today when I was about to go out to meet the wife, this silly fellow didn't allow me to. He blocked the entrance. =.= But nevermind, I still manage to in my own ways.

Photobucket We went to P.S, straight off towards the cinema to get movie tickets. 3:40pm time slot the seats left the first 3 rows thus we don't want. We took the 6pm slot. Can't use the $8 voucher. :(

After getting the tickets, we went to Daiso for a walk. Got myself a new mouse pad! See, my mouse pad nice right? Two donuts and a cup of coffee as the picture. Sure hungry everyday.

Had Carl's Junior for dinner. Yummy~

http://www.impawards.com/2009/posters/hotel_for_dogs.jpgAfter the wife got me my bottle of starfruit drink, we're off towards the cinema. So excited! I've been waiting for this movie for so so so long.

Hotel for Dogs is a nice movie!
Dogs/animal lover sure will love it. To me, quite touching, but not as touching as Marley and Me. If I am not wrong, the wife sitting next to me did cry right?

It's about two kids who found this abandoned hotel with the help of their dog, Friday. So cute! I like Friday. So clever. He knows how to wriggle out of the collar. Haha . . .
The two kids with the help of their friends rescued dogs and they turned the abandoned hotel into some sort of dog's hotel and a little of theme park. There's things to entertain the dogs while they were not around.

I won't go into details.
Catch it if you're interested to know more. It's a worth it movie!

I got back, and I packed the table. Plug in the extra 15" LCD monitor to my laptop. Now I have double screens to look at. Haha . . . But need some adjusting. :(

Marley and Me (Movie)

http://askspikeonline.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/marley-and-me.jpg I've read the book last year, super touching and love the book to bits. The book that I bought has a page on the column John wrote to Marley. Super touching too.

Met the wife up at Bugis last night, watching Marley and Me at the 9pm slot at Shaw. The wife was late, so I get the tickets first. Can I say it's my first time purchasing movie tickets after 20 years of my life? Bahx . . . That's not important.

Straight to Marley and Me.

The starting of the show I find it quite exciting. The book was great with good reviews, so does the movie and so I wanted to watch it badly even more. I like the puppy Labrador, they're cute. In the movie, when John and Jenny were looking at the puppies, the dog owner said that Marley will got at a cheaper rate. And so that's how Marley got the nickname as clearance puppy.

I quite like how Marley howl during thunder storm although it was quite different from the story. I expect him to be injured and bleeding during thunder storms when the owners are out. But the movie came out different. Well, what can we expect? Movies will always be a little or more different from the books.

Although the story plot was different from the book I quite like it although it seem to be a little draggy for me in the middle.

One thing I don't enjoy the movie was that I had to be like a giraffe craning my neck up just to watch the movie in full screen. The person in front of me wasn't that tall when he's seated, but he just block my view. Shaw's seating was unlike GV or Cathay, because they don't give me the craning of neck problem, even when I am leaning towards the wife with my head on her shoulder. But only Shaw gives me this problem, which I don't really like. But what to do, it is one of the earliest slow available among cinemas nearest to the wife's working place.

Ah . . .
We can't miss out the most important part. The ending. Although most touching movies I have watched with the wife so far doesn't make me tear as much as this Marley and Me. Maybe because of I have lost countless of hamsters before in the past that made me understand and relate to the ending part more.

It was sad, and the wife and me were wiping our tears on one another sleeves. Now my jacket has her tear drop smell. =.=

Marley and Me was a good movie in that sense that it also portrays the starting of a new family. With the coming of babies, and the chaotic lives with a dog around too. And blahx blahx blahx . . . So it actually shows us that starting a family and having a dog altogether isn't an easy task and would make me really think twice for the future. Although by looking at the wife and me financially, it's impossible to even raise a dog.

Anyway, people, Marley and Me is a recommended movie. :D

Slumdog Millionaire

http://images.starpulse.com/Photos/Previews/Slumdog-Millionaire-f04.jpg Slumdog Millionaire is not your ordinary hindu film. To put it across, it isn't the kind you would see it on Vasantham Central. Slumdog Millionaire is a movie that depicts the lives in India somehow.

They showed places we might not be able to see in our own country, like how it is like to be living in a slum and how children in India survives without their parents. It is something we don't see in Singapore.

The whole movie is about how Jamal who grew up with his brother and his childhood love, Latika. The three of them became orphans after a fight broke out in their hometown. There they learned to seek shelter and to fend for themselves. Right at the moment when they were living by themselves at rubbish dump, a man approached them who they thought were their saint. But they were wrong.

Years went by, Jamal took part in Who Wants to be a Millionaire, hoping Latika would be watching it. As he knew every answer to the questions, they thought he was cheating and thus got caught by the police before returning to answer the last question in the game.

The movie plot was good. And it won 13 awards in the Oscars if I am not wrong. The whole movie was worth to watch although I almost slept in the middle of it because I am a little tired for not having enough rest the previous night.

They do not have the sundden singing and dancing in the middle of the movie. Which is something new in a show about India. They put the dancing at the end of the movie, which gives a little entertainment factor.

Snow Buddies

http://web.gomovietv.com/img/SnowBuddies.jpg I've watched Snow Buddies a few days ago. To be frank, I quite like it. The gold retriever puppies are super adorable. But still, I like that husky more.

The way they played hide and seek, to the way they ended up at Alaska was super funny. They thought the husky was a huge wolf that is chasing them. Somehow, the husky sort of save them and brought them home.

I like the part where they follow their heart and brave through the race knowing that danger is waiting for them. The movie sort of teaches you teamwork and doing something good by helping others. As well as follow your heart in the things you've set your mind in doing.

Can I watch it again with my dearest wife?

Happy Valentine's Day

http://www.bartelme.at/material/news/HappyValentinesDay.png Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Did you enjoy your day today?

For me, I can say it is a bad one and a happy one. Here's why.

In the middle of the night at around 1plus in the morning, the wife said she is interested to watch [Underworld: Rise of the Lycans]. But the seats she is aiming for at Golden Village has been bought, and Golden Village website doesn't accept debit card payment. And I thought of giving her a surprise when she said we can try our luck today to see if there's any available good seats left. Seeing her so down, I said I want to bathe and rushed down to the nearest AXS machine and got ourself a pair of tickets. Instead to find out she herself have bought a pair at The Cathay to surprise me too. That is how we ended up with 2 pairs of tickets to the same movie. Put that aside.

Jun came over in the morning to collect her cupcakes and I offered to help her choose a present for her boyfriend. In the end, she settled down for shaver. She gave me a box of Merci chocolates. So thoughtful.

Dearie and I had our lunch at Monfort after Jun left to meet her boyfriend I suppose. LavaRocks again. This time we ordered something different. But I don't really like the food I ate today, maybe because I am not really in favour to sour today. Mine is a little sour. But dearie's TOO SOUR. Eek . . .

After lunch, I ordered a can of drink. Dearie walked further up to look at things. She stopped by the bicycle shop we once stopped by before. In the end, she asked me to choose one that I like. Instead of BMX, I choose one that has a speed and front and back suspension. It looks bigger, color is nicer. It has speed and suspensions. Good! The break is awesome.

Photobucket The red bicycle is my birthday present. Isn't it gorgeous? I like it loads although this brand I've never heard of before. I have a free red lock which is handing on my bike as you can see in the picture.

Photobucket I got a free bell that says [I love my bike].

Photobucket Isn't the suspension beautiful?

Photobucket I added this direction light after I got home. The only problem is the break light switch. I don't know where to put it.

Photobucket People, now I have two bikes. The one outside, I'm not going to have it anymore. I'll just get the bell out and put it on the grey bike that I have at home.

We rode home, dearie fetched me. During the journey home, I taught her how to use the break. Haha . . Fun! Can we do it again?

Got home, park the bike, catch some breath, drink some water and we're off towards PS to watch a movie. The extra pair, manage to sell it to Jasmine and her sister. Woots~ It's not a waste after all.

http://z.about.com/d/movies/1/0/9/q/R/underworld3pic2.jpg We watched [Underworld: Rise of the Lycans]. Because of this movie, I had a dream of werewolves and vampires. But then again, the show is nice. OK, maybe I have not the first two episode, so I can only say I like this movie.

It was a battle between the Lycans and the Vampires. Nice~ I like the effect, but the whole movie is in the dark. I have not watch a movie that is so dark before. Only a few sunlight.

What I don't like was the way the way Victor kill her own daughter, Sonia. T.T

OK, I'm not giving much review because I'm tired. But I will say it is a nice movie. You should watch it.

After the movie, we hurried to The Cathay to pass Jasmine and her sister the tickets before we're off to do our own shopping. I got myself a new mug, a remove rust cream. Which I tried a little, quite good but some rust are still there. I shall think of ways for it. Maybe one day I should go back to Daiso to find a suitable head light for my bike.

Went home, while the wife washes the tank for Tubby, I cooked dinner. Macoroni with soup. Yumy! The wife says it is nice and it has been a long time since she last ate the macroni that I cook.

Now I have a new bike, I have the urge to ride it everyday. And and and . . .

I am so going to repair my grey bike's tire. If I got the money, maybe change the break to a better one.

What Happens in Vega

http://content8.flixster.com/photo/11/01/98/11019822_ori.jpg A few weeks ago, I watched [What Happens in Vegas] on my new DVD player with at least 5 mini stereo system. How cool is that? OK, the main point here is that I borrowed my sister's DVD without permission. Who cares.

The show was alright. It didn't show how they got married in Vegas, or how they ended up sharing the same hotel room. It only shows bits and pieces of the party they went to one after another. To wake up finding that they both were married.

The best part was, they won the jackpot and had to be together for 6 months. And they during their 6 months, both tries to set up one another just to win the money they both had won together at Las Vegas.

But as you can see, the ending of the story is predictable.

Not my kind of show. When I watch the trailer, I thought it would be a nice movie. But it came out this way, not the way I expected.

My Chinese New Year Celebrations

First day of Chinese New Year was super boring. But quite fun. I met my nephew, Marcus. First time that I saw his eyes open. Quite adorable. Chubby too. I so wanted to carry him, but because newborns are quite fragile, I didn't really dare to. I didn't get to see my first lion dance this year because of my sister who was worried about Salty, and I had headache. So we went home. I rested while my parents and brother went off to my aunt's house nearby for a visit. I avoided there because of headache and I do not want to see my aunt nagging at me about my life again.

Anyway, second day was fantastic to me. I get to see the wife. Woohoo~
Jun came over to fetch us at our respective houses after our new year visits in the afternoon. Then we were off towards Bukit Batok to catch a movie. We watched The Wedding Game.

It was a so-so movie with quite a number of humorous element. I quite like the part where Christopher Lee and Fann Wong was quarreling. =x
And I quite like the part where Christopher Lee have to sleep on the floor at night but in the end he crept onto the bed and sleep next to Fann Wong.

Not much of scenes I like, but at least I've enjoyed myself. After movie, we went off towards Jun's place for a visit. Saw Ken Ken, Xueli's dog. Saw Jun's tortoise and her whole family. Went into her room, turned on her laptop, and I was watching Ip Man.

http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b182/thravis/Donnie_IpMan.jpg The show was fantastic. The wife asked me what the show was about, I told her it is the history of Ip Man. I didn't really pay much attention to the story plot, but I paid lots of attention during the fighting scenes.

But when the best part of the movie is coming, something is wrong with connection thus I didn't get to watch the best part of it. I want to watch Ip Man! I want to watch the part that I've missed!

On the way home, we asked Jun lots of questions. And under my void deck after sending Ken Ken and the wife home, Jun asked me the questions we've asked her. Nice~

Third Day of new year, I visit Father's old friend. Quite bored, but it's OK. Extra ang bao to collect. Visited grandfather at Alexandra Hospital, and he do not know who I am anymore. The best part was, he kept babbling about the past, and because of that, father got 4-Digits from grandfather's babbling.

The girls came over for dinner today because the mother invited them. We had fun eating. And of course, when the sister and her idiotic boyfriend arrived, we begin to eat slower than before. Jun loves her mushrooms. Haha . . .

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3197/2905173692_4f6b8eeafc.jpg?v=0 After dinner, Jun drove us towards Punggol End for a chat. It was quite dark, and something funny was, Evil Sister thought the boat at the far end was a car instead. Because the opposite has those factory like kind of land, and she thought the red light moving was a car. But after knowing it is a boat, everyone laughed and started teasing.

How I wish every Lunar New Year, my celebration would be this great.

Breaking Dawn

http://twilighters.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/breaking_dawn_cover.jpg Yada Yada Yada. I have finally finished this book after roughly a month? (Finally! I can read my new book, [The Bad Dog's Diary: Blake's Progress].

I would say I love this book a lot! One of my favorite book among the Twilight series.
Breaking Dawn, I can is one of the book that confused me because there is a part of Jacob's point of view. But whatever, I managed to get over this confusion between me and the book.

Edward and Bella got married, no doubt. And Jacob, the best man who was late, wasn't happy about the marriage. At least he attended Bella's wedding and had a dance with her. After their wedding, Edward and Bella was off to an island for honeymoon. There they made love and after finding a box of unused tampons and clarify with Carlisle, it was confirmed that Bella was pregnant.

At first I thought was why give birth to a baby that will want her life? But apparently, it is a good thing the baby didn't take away Bella's life. To be exact, it was Edward's venom that had saved Bella. And now, she is a vampire.

And of course, my favorite character Alice, I laughed at one of her sentence. She said that after being a vampire, Bella had improved in her sense of balance except for her fashion sense. I envy Bella, she had a huge wardrobe of clothes specially made by Alice. Aww . . . I wish to have a walk in closet too. But that is impossible.

Oh yes, I hate Caius from the Volturi clan. He just had the intention to kill. Stupid him. Don't like him. But it is a good thing with Aro around, there isn't any fight going on. And thanks to Bella, her shield had protected her family and friends as well as the shape-shifters (werewolves). It is a good thing that Alice and Jasper came out the last minute to prove that Renesme isn't dangerous in exposing the existence of the vampires to the human world.

Ah . . .
Happily ever after except that Irina was killed by the Volturi guards, thanks to Caius. :(

My Wonderful Christmas

http://www.freefoto.com/images/90/03/90_03_36---Christmas-Decorations_web.jpg Celebrated Christmas yesterday with the wife. She came over for a stay over and I'm super happy about it. Although before that I was kind of sad and disappointed as planned before on the 27th she would have her stay over. But because there is a dinner with her sisters, she decided to do it early since she's not working today. Yippee!

She came over in the afternoon, we talked a little then had lunch. After which we watched some shows on Okto channel. Watched the [Nine Dog Christmases] and another about a twin penguin trying to prove that Santa does exist. And I asked the wife.

Would you tell your kids that Santa doesn't exist in real life?

And she replied me,

Nope, I would let their creativity flow.

Then of course, we both didn't believe that Santa does exist since we were young.
Anyway, while I was watching TV, the wife was busy clicking and typing away on my laptop. We watched a few movie last night before the clock strike twelve to tell us the end of Christmas for year 2008 is over.

http://sneakermestupid.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/shrek.jpg We've watched Shrek first. I know it is a movie so long ago, but I didn't watch it so I only get to watch it at the age of nineteen? But whatever, at least I did watch it.

To me, the movie was nice. I like the dragon when she met the donkey who went on and on complimenting her. Actually that's all I like in the movie. I don't really like the guy who wants to marry Princess Fiona.

One thing I've learnt in this movie was, never judge a book by it's cover. :D

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/images/200711/20071128ho_shrekthehalls_500.jpg And then, we watched Shrek, the Christmas version. Shrek said he didn't had any celebration for Christmas before and this was his first. He wanted to make it perfect for the family, but Donkey wanted to have it his way. Donkey brought their friends and family over to Shrek's place which caused Shrek to boil with anger.

I quite like Puss in boots in this movie because of his sentence about embrassing himself of the kids and friends. How nice~

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3050/2547258447_77c099a864.jpg We've also watched Mama Mia. I know I am late in watching this movie, but yahx, I've just watched it. Quite a many said the movie was nice (from the reviews I've read by unknown people), but quite a many of the wife's friend said it isn't.

Now I know why it isn't.

When they're supposed to sing, they didn't but sing. When the scene doesn't really required singing, they sing. Ah . . . But we had a great time guessing who is Sophie's father.

Overall, I would say, I don't really like the movie.

http://lh3.ggpht.com/LoveFilms/SEOCrokFf6I/AAAAAAAAAwk/GlAy0UbiBFg/s800/LML_2.jpg We watched Love My Life before turning into bed. Ah . . . Sweet~

Although it is in Japanese with Chinese subheadings, I managed to watch it till the very end. Hey! I seldom watch a show with Chinese subheadings where I have to read until I almost died for guessing what's the meaning. But the wife does explain to me what's fried rice meant in the movie. It meant one night stand. How nice.

This show is awesome! It is about homosexual relationships and how the Yuki (I think it's the name) knows about her parents' background. Her parents were homosexuals too, and because both met together on the street after a breakup, they got married just because the mother wants to start a family.

Nope, I won't get a guy to be my husband just because I want to start a family. As you can see, I'm with the wife and it is impossible for us to start a family. If we were to start a family, there's many things we have to consider and go through. But after much knocking senses to me by the Evil Sister the other time, I came to a final conclusion. If I can't get a child of my own, I shall sponsor kids in the third world country. How's that? Good?

I like this movie not because it depicts homosexual lives, but because the kissing scene in the cab is super nice! I mean it does give me the feeling of wanting to kiss, seriously I meant it. Not because the wife says so too before I could say anything. =x But whatever, I like the show. Woots!

I like the ending too. I thought the girls might not be able to be together due to the sudden break Yuki's girlfriend asked. Break as in taking a break, not a break up. Lalala . . .

Had a great time this Christmas although there's no major celebration with the wife. After the show, after the shower (I guess), the wife and I sat down hugging one another in the living room and we just talked whatever we wish to talk. And before the two of us dozed off, I suggest we head back to the room.

Ah . . .
Waking up to see the wife next to me in my arms is a blessing. I wish for it to happen everyday.

Eclipse

http://allancamposarquivo.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/eclipse_stephenie_meyer.jpg Finally I have finished reading this book. Awesome! I thought I am a really slow reader considering that lately I have been busy trying to get online and of course, cleaning and washing the hamsters' tanks and cages. Not to forget busy finding places to 'makan' with the girls this Christmas.

Anyway, [Eclipse], is not one of my favourite book of the [Twilight] saga. My favourite book for now is [Twilight]. I am currently reading [Breaking Dawn], so after I have finished this, I would let you know if I like it better than [Twilight] itself.

I am still in love with Carlisle from the movie. =x

OK, back to the book.

I do not really like the part where Jacob was impolite to Edward, because Edward was trying to be so super polite to him. Grr . . . I still do not understand why the wife prefers Jacob. =x

My favourite character is still Alice. I like the way she wants to help Bella in so many things, like organising a graduation part at the Cullens' place. So nice of her. You know, I wish to have a sister like this. Not like the one I have at home.

To me, this Eclipse is kind of scary at towards the end of the book where the war is about to begin. I mean seriously, the Cullens and the Werewolves are outnumbered but they do still have the confidence in winning the battle against twenty newborn vampires. All are fast in speed, how to win? But whatever, they still managed to kill them both.

I like the part where Seth is killing the vampire. Woots! Super nice~ He can feign injured, how nice. Victoria, the mastermind finally came out and of course she died. You know how they kill vampires? By beheading them. Disgusting. It is a good thing during this era, there is no more beheading.

I still do not like Jacob in Eclipse. He is one jealous guy I do not like. =x

OK, I do not want to divulge more because I know Yan Ling has not read the book.

Twilight (Movie)

http://www.slashfilm.com/wp/wp-content/images/twilight-backlot-21.jpg Baby said to make my Friday night free, she has a surprise for me. The best part was, she never told me what my surprise would be. She just said hope I will like. And being puzzled until I was in the theatre, I still did not know what my surprise will be. I pestered and asked, but no answer.

Meet Baby at Farrer Park MRT, and she was late so I had to wait for approximately another 10minutes before she arrives. Board the train and I have no idea where we are going. Reached Harbourfront, got down and walked towards Vivo City. I am still clueless about my surprise. I even asked where we are going and what will we be eating for dinner. She just told me Long John Silver.

Ah . . .
My wife is secretive last night. And she do not allow me to be secretive. =.=
Meet up her friends there and I was still clueless. I thought she brought me to Vivo just to meet her friends. But I thought wrong. I came to know that Jasmine would be coming, so is Vincent and the other guy. Not important to know his name.

Got in the theatre after dinner and some chats, I am still clueless in why we are watching a movie. First thing that came to my mind was, are we watching [Bolt]? But no. I did not know what we are watching until one of Baby's friend asked Jasmine and Kat, will be they like going to scream. Then, another thought came to my mind. Are we watching some horror movie? If so, I am so going to kill my wife. But no.

Kat and Jasmine was quite shocked that I did not know we are going to watch Twilight. Just then, a crazy Twilight fan entered the theatre and shouted [Twilight]! And she even went around her seats with the book. =.=

Anyway, yup, I've watched Twilight last night at Vivo. Haha . . .
That's my surprise.

The movie started with a deer, and I quite like it the way it ran and something chased after it. But then again, some parts of the movie was quite draggy and some parts that should not be in the film was there. And those exciting parts that I looke forward to in the book are not shown in the movie itself. It really was a very budget film as said by Kat and Jasmine.

I like some parts though. Like when he carried Bella and ran towards a clearing to show her how he looks like under sunlight. Only the running part although he looks as though he is flying because his feet did not touch the ground. I noticed it, maybe the editing part for the film did not go so well or may be the director wants it to be this way. Whatever the reason was, I quite like that running part. And no, I do not like it when he is under the sunlight. Although they did show his body shining, it looks more like he is sweating. In my mind before I watch the movie, I thought that the shining part would be stunning and blinded me. But no, it was just like a diamond shining on his body and face.

http://gi74.photobucket.com/groups/i251/6SCFLNLJHS/Twilight-Baseball.jpg One of my favourite part of the movie was when the Cullens played baseball in the storm. I like the effect of it. The sound is makes me feel as though I am in a thunderstorm. OK, I guess. But I still like that part where they played. But I do not like the part where James and his gang arrived. I thought I could see the grass rolling and moving under them, but they did not show in the movie though. So nice of a trailer to show me scenes that I do not see in the movie.

[Carlisle2988.jpg] You know in the movie, I find all the Cullens looks so so only, except for Carlisle. He looks super handsome in the movie. I think I prefer males with blond hair like what Baby has said. She's super jealous of it when I said I like Tom Felton in Harry Potter and Lucas Grabeel in High School Musical. Can I say I like Carlisle too? =x

http://i271.photobucket.com/albums/jj136/KittysTwilightGraphics/Alice-Cullen.gif My favourite character in Twilight would be Alice. She's quite funny in the movie when she was introduced to Bella. Watch it and you will know why I like Alice in Twilight. In fact, she is my favourite character in the book. The way she dressed Bella and all those. If you have read the book, you should know what I am talking about.

And because Baby was listening to audio book of Twilight, she had already moved on the the fourth book before I do. And she was super eager to give us (Kat, Jasmine and me) spoilers. No, we do not want spoilers. Urgh.

Oh, the kissing scenes just did not make me feel like kissing Baby. But I do kiss her cheek, because when I turned to look at her, her cheeks are quite smooth and chubby which makes me want to kiss it. And the part where they show Carlisle changing Edward to become a vampire, it looks like you know, Gay kissing? =x And the part where Carlisle changing Esme into a vampire looks like as though they are going to have sex. =x

OK, that is how I feel. *laughs*

OK, just don't put too much hope in the movie. It is draggy and so budget film. I hope New Moon would be better. Heard they are changing the person who played as Jacob Black.
