Went over to IMM @ Jurong East with my wife yesterday, she drove. One thing I didn't really like being the passenger when my wife is driving is because she'll be in a real bad mood. But I think it's something I have to get use to until I get my driving license which will be in the very far future.
We talked during the journey. And I began to know somewhat a little about the traffic rules or driving rules or whatever you called it. The very right lane on the road is the fastest lane, so those who are in a rush will go via the right line. Then the very left lane is the slowest lane, for drivers who don't intend to speed much and for the heavy vehicles. I also began to know that if I take driving classes, it's best to to take manual rather than auto, because manual is somehow cheaper for the classes than auto.
But those aren't important till I decided to enroll myself for driving classes.
Then we reached IMM after somewhat a long journey. We passed Agnes her items that she ordered from EplusCo, then we went shopping at Daiso hoping to look for wire mesh to make C&C cage for the guinea pigs. Sadly, they do not have stock. And I bought myself a new pot, solely for me to use. And the main purpose is to use it to cook instant noodle! Yummy! It's easy to wash after everything, so I'm loving it. =D
Had a heavy lunch at Daiso before heading off to Tai Seng road to look for the wire mesh we wanted. We found one that is similar to what we were looking for, but it's kind of expensive. By buying 4 pieces of it can come up to more than a hundred bucks.
We tried at another place somewhere around Geylang area. Thank goodness! They have the one exactly like what we were looking for. $70 for 2 sets. =x Not cheap either, but it's considered cheaper than what we saw at Tai Seng road.
Now we're going to starve ourselves until we had more income coming in. The kids will have a better life though. No worries. =D
Late night prawn fishing with wife's 姐妹 (sisters : not biological ones). They did the catching and I am just there to escape being trap at home doing nothing. Ate around 18 sticks of satay, about 1 and a half of BBQ wings. =D Yummy! And the girls said I should eat more. Well, OK, I'll try.
BBQ-ed the prawns, and we're off sending the girls back. Fu and Daphne, wife and I went off to Thomson Road to have prata and drinks. We chat, we laugh, we eat. Something which I quite enjoyed myself although I didn't talk much as usual.
So . . .
Can we have another round of prawn fishing session?
