Jun came over to fetch me and we're off towards Punggol Prawn Fishing Farm, the one at Marina Country Club near Punggol End. They said free parking so we were thinking why not just go and take a look and see if we really want to have a prawn fishing day there. Jun drove down the road towards Punggol End and turned towards Punggol 17th Ave. The road towards the country club was dark and quiet. And then there's some curve and bend that out of no where another vehicle will be coming towards your direction and so it is best to drive at a slow speed and drive with care.
We reach Marina Country Club and now we know what's the meaning of free parking. If you enter the entrance of the country club by car, you need to pay. So we notice there were quite a lot of cars parked along the road outside the country club, that is the free parking. We walked in towards the Prawn farm to find that there were few people around and the catch other people had were very little and so we decided to head off to our usual prawn fishing farm.
Jun drove towards the wife's home to get the worms for prawn fishing. And I get to play and have a first look at how GPS looks like in a car. I didn't really catch what the GPS said, all I was looking at was where will be the next turn the GPS offer. We went by CTE, and was supposed to turn towards an exit but we missed. Then another Jun purposely didn't turn because she knows the way.
We reached the wife's place, I went up to collect the worms. Yucks, I hate worms. Never in my life will I want to touch a worm. =x The wife was playing mahjong with her friends, and because of me they paused the game I think.
Anyway, we head off towards the prawn fishing farm opposite Bishan's Salvation Army. We prawned for 3 hours. =D
The catch today wasn't good though not much people is prawn fishing. The wife came to join us later. We changed from pond to pond to try our luck. We caught a small little prawn which I brought home hoping that it will be alive. =D
But nevertheless, it is a great experience prawn fishing and BBQ-ing them to eat. The wife feed a little portion of prawn to Ah Wang who took it happily.
After prawn fishing, we went to the market food centre at AMK to have breakfast. Then the wife brought us to this shop that sells things at a quite cheap price. Jun bought some biscuit and a toothbrush that the wife recommended. =D
I reached home with a little tired mind. I enjoyed myself, hopefully the wife and Jun enjoys their day too. =D
